There was a thread with this question, but it was deleted. I think a better question would be, "Where does Jackie want her career to be now?" We don't really know. Maybe she's happy with it as it is.
I would like Jackie to be much more popular and well known than she is with a lot more fans. I'm hoping this pop thing is just a phase. Her classical voice is really what sets her apart from other singers and I really hope she doesn't abandon it for her pop voice.
I think mistakes have been made, but with that beautiful classical voice no mistake is insurmountable. Jackie has 15 upcoming concerts so I think her career is in good shape. I just wish they would get that new album/EP out.

I don't think, it will be out before the end of the year. From markenting point of view, it makes no sense to release two albums within a month. I guess, it will last till the end of the first quarter of 2017 (we even don't know, if she is working on it).

Maybe the fact that one is a Christmas album will reduce the applicability of that dictum. They aren't really competing with each other, it seems to me; two different markets. In fact, there might be a little synergy effect- of course folks like us, fans, would buy both in any case- and other folks who are mainly buying Christmas music, but had heard of her, might see that she has another new album and buy it too.

You are right, maybe, but I havn't heard anything since months, that Jackie is working on a new album. So, I was surprised, as I heard, that there is a Christmas album. As I remember, the last time Jackie mentioned, she is working on it, was April or May. Please, correct me, if I am wrong.

The only mention of it was roundabout. Tweeting about working with songwriters in NY while Lisa's forum was still in existence.

They seem to be taking their time with the new album. The Christmas album is already packaged, but I have my doubts that a second album will be released before Christmas, we'll see. The new album (not the Christmas album) is the one that will take her into the new year.

Based on recent observations, it seems Jackie's JETouring album is being held up due to her Sony Musicworks Xmas album. Maybe due to original contract obligations or possible renegotiation of a contract? We can only speculate for now. I figure she'll be releasing her album early in the year prior to her California concerts.

As I recall, Lisa eluded to the fact that the new independent album was being held up for unspecified reasons during a shoutbox session. She seemed pretty upset by the complications in releasing the album and that forces outside of the JE Touring team were the cause. Now that we know about the Sony Christmas album, my guess is that bgstar is correct and Sony is the outside force delaying the new album's release. I would be inclined to believe that due to some contractual reasons the new album will not be released until the Spring.

Hi folks, While we are on the subject of Jackie's future direction, I feel the time is right for her to consider another little jaunt overseas. Her fans in the UK and Europe are dying to see her and even if she did a concert in London, some TV appearances etc etc and then maybe a concert in France or Germany? If she's going to make singing her career then I feel this is the direction she should be heading. Concerts in the US are great but time to expand I think. Let her be seen as well as being heard. At 16 she's mature enough and strong enough to do some 'testing of the waters' overseas. A concert in London, well timed, should be an absolute success, especially if she get some prior media coverage. Isn't that what her 'PR Team' are supposed to be good at? She has a nice fan base in Germany and France so let's give them a treat. What about the Hispanic fans, she has loads of them so how about a few tracks in Spanish. There are loads of options out there for her to really get up on the podium so to speak. Well , there I go, up on my soap box. lol.lol. But seriously folks, I think it's time things ' moved on', don't you think? We seem to be bogged down in the US instead of broadening our horizons. And to ad, if there is 'something' in the wind, let's hear about it. Amigo.

Until she parts ways with her current management philosophy, I don't think she's going to improve her numbers in concert attendance, music sales, or fan base.
If she's happy with her career as it is, I'm happy for her, but if she wants a bigger career, then things will need to change... promotion is lackluster, new tracks take way too long to appear, her media presence is truly minimal. All of which contribute to the fact her concerts are small and getting smaller.
I hope by the time she's 18 and can make legal decisions independently, she can find a way to launch a bigger and better career for herself. I won't forget her, but it's difficult to watch such a great talent being so marginalized.

Why would she, being such an outstanding talent, limit her exposure?? Beats the heck out of me. For some time now her overseas fans have been crying out for her to make an appearance. If she's not careful she will start loosing her fans. Her talent is recognized internationally as we know, especially in view of her appearance with some really outstanding celebrity singers,Andre Bocelli etc. What better way to promote yourself but they haven't capitalized on it. Why? I wouldn't want to see her just fade into obscurity which is what will happen if something doesn't happen in the not to distant future. Is she struggling with some personal internal family problems at the moment? Who knows. It's very frustrating for those of us who have followed her career from day one to see her not making the best of her talents. By the time she gets to 18 on current trends she will be just another great wasted talent I feel. Surely she has enough clout to push her current management for more exposure, I can't believe she would want to slow down, I don't buy that. I really think somehow the message has to get to the Evancho Team that they need to ramp things up while they still have the opportunity. Sorry folks but I feel very strongly about Jackie and her incredible talent and I just hate to see it wasting away. Hopefully more positive news in the future. Amigo.

Sorry folks but I feel very strongly about Jackie and her incredible talent and I just hate to see it wasting away. Hopefully more positive news in the future. Amigo. I see it completely different. We have to accept, that Jackie and/or her parents decided, after she exploded on Americas Got Talent, to be a part time entertainer and not a full time entertainer. She still goes to school and she has more interests then just pushing her singing career. She often said in interviews, that she want to study and go to college. She never said, she only want to go into show buisness. I think, we as fans, have to respect this. Even if she would decide to stop singing (what I don't hope). And we always have to consider that she is just 16 years old. Remember, what Jackie experienced in her live in the last six years. Nearly nobbody of us can imagine what it means to give more then 100 solo concerts, to perform in three PBS specials (I bet, nobody will ever have three specials in the age between 11 and 14 years), go into studio to record four or five LP's, travelling around the world, met people who are alltime showbiz greats and perform with them and - last but not least - go to school. And all this happens between the age of 10 and 16. I guess, most of us would have a break down or got grazy. We don't know Jackie personally. But it seemed and I'm sure, that she has a strong will and a strong personallity and she will decide, what is the best for her. And that is, what counts. And nothing else. Excuse me, if my comment is not perfect in English. I'm not a native.
