Will any of those still active here be at the concert? It was to be expected that the house would fill up after Jackie filled the ticket sales with life. A half-full house wouldn't have been nice for Jackie. Otherwise we have to wait for the new album 2022, which nobody outside of Jackie's environment knows more about. Maybe there is still information as a Christmas present? Yes, my wife and I are attending. Lucky!

Looks like 327 by my count, quite a bit better than the 192 mentioned 9 days ago (capacity is 633, so that's a bit over 51% so far). And circumstances suggest a lot of late ticket buyers would be likely; even the normal event coverage with no extra promotion is likely to get the word out for a Christmas concert in December, esp. one that probably fits the tastes of the area well enough. In the 3 days since your post, 54 more tickets have been sold, for a total of 381, or 60.19%! In my estimation, not too shabby for a performer who disappeared for almost 2 years and out of public view! What this tells me is that there is at least 381 people that haven't forgotten her! I know the ticket prices are low, but this turnout is encouraging!
As of today, Sunday December 12, 444 tickets sold or 70.14%! With 5 days left, this could be close to a sellout!

For the students, I think it's mostly just $5 (although some seats might be full price). But there's Lancaster (population about 60,000) four miles away, and the Lancaster "metropolitan" area population is over half a million; so there's plenty of potential audience to draw on, assuming normal local media listings of events include it and let people know.

I want to slow down your enthusiasm a bit. a few years ago, 450 tickets or even 650 tickets for a Christmas concert by Jackie would have been a bad result. Is the demand now so low? I am happy that Jackie is active again, but I can not speak of a success at the moment.

Besides, COVID is still a factor and with the mask requirement it may be turning away some folks (not me). So my enthusiasm is quiet high, even if it were just Jackie, her music director, the string section of the local orchestra and my wife and I. In fact it would be a lot higher in that case

In fact it would be a lot higher in that case I will say that its better than I expected, all things considered...covid, two year absence from touring, one year absence from the public eye entirely, declining fanbase, etc. The true test will be next year when she starts touring with the new album across the country. I suspect she'll do pretty decently. I hope so.

Right. Christmas concerts are beautiful and anything, but not relevant. If I had the opportunity to watch an artist who has not given a concert for two years, then that motivates me all the more. Jackie's absence in the social networks is not relevant for her career, Jackie is never very successful in these things, the decisive factor was that Jackie announced very late that it was really taking place

I can, and bought the ticket before her explanation of disappearance or that that concert was indeed going to happen as scheduled. At such a low price, with no extra hotel room expense needed, I figured it was worth the risk to have a good seat if it did happen. :-) 3rd row I think, not center of center section, but not way out on the side either.

As of 4:00 PM, Dec. 17, 2021, 491 tickets sold or 77.57%. To look out over an almost sold out house, this should be a confidence builder!
As of 6:30 PM, Dec. 15, 2021, 429 tickets sold or 67.77%. This will be a good turnout for her come-back concert!

I'm sure, there are also some last minute visitors, so the hall should nearly filled completely.

Hopefully everything works without any problems behind and on stage. Jackie's nerves will be extremely tense. Mine are too.
