This might be Jackie' s first concert as an adult, but it will also be my first concert as a "Senior". That's wonderful Mike. And a fine testimony to the value of keep plugging away and you'll reach your goal. Now that you'll be a senior next year have you given any thought to college?

I have received my tickets in the mail. I wasn't sure when they would be mailed, but I have them now.

A bit of a coincidence but the Phantom will precede Jackie in Dayton by a week. I assume this is just a warm-up for her concert.
Coming to Dayton for 2 weeks only! April 11-22 Public on sale Friday, November 17 at 10 a.m. Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA comes to Dayton as part of a brand new North American tour. Critics are raving that this breathtaking production is “bigger and better than ever before” and features a brilliant new scenic design by Paul Brown, Tony Award-winning original costume design by Maria Björnson, lighting design by Tony Award winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and new staging by director Laurence Connor. The production, overseen by Matthew Bourne and Cameron Mackintosh, boasts many exciting special effects including the show’s legendary chandelier. The beloved story and thrilling score — with songs like “Music of the Night,” “All I Ask of You,” and “Masquerade” — will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this PHANTOM one of the largest productions now on tour.

The Cameron MacKintosh new production of POTO might have benefited if Jackie's concert preceded the production and people had a chance to hear what the music might sound like when they attend POTO.

Nope! Ain't gonna work Gordie. If the people hear Jackie singing a few from Phantom they will be disappointed when they hear whoever try to sing the same songs. Think man!

My wife has agreed to go with me to this concert if I first take her to the Shen Yun performance in Knoxville, January 2018. Tickets to that show go from $83 to $153. Oh my goodness!
I really want to hear Jackie live, especially with a full orchestra. I was getting the impression that dwindling interest had forced her to smaller venues. Does this mean that she's picking up steam? I hope so!

Time sensitive: Now through midnight Monday (Nov 27) single tickets are on sale at a 25% discount - enter promotion code: saveme25. Tickets can be purchased at daytonperformingarts.org/tickets I just purchased 5 premium seats for the Friday night show. I told my three children and their spouses, I will pay for the tickets for anyone that is interested in attending. So far four takers. Don't know about the 8 grandkids yet - it could get expensive.

Thanks for the heads up. Bought front orchestra tickets that Monday for April 27. Have tickets at the house. Wife is willing to go without strings attached, lol. She actually is warming up to Jackie's Christmas songs because she likes her voice in the lower registers. Probably because my wife was always in the Alto range.
