I wouldn't either, if it were so, but I'm afraid relatively few of those did any posting on the forum, let alone drumming. There was a postering project for a concert somewhere in California, I believe, using a poster design by Ana Ausfeld, and materials contributed by the fans. If I remember right, Lisa offered to have posters made for a similar program in other cities, but I don't think it ever happened. Actually, posting on a forum and promoting Jackie are two different things. For instance, when my Daughter and I went to Jackie's concert in Midland TX my daughter chatted up the owner of the motel we were staying at. She convinced him to check out a few of Jackie's youtube videos and told him about the concert we were going to. The next day when we checked out he told her that he had purchased tickets for himself and his family of 5 and gone to the concert. They loved it and were going to see if they could go to another one some time. That is what i am talking about when i say promoting Jackie. Exactly. So why do you think 1000 people quit being fans just because the old forum closed? I see what you mean, and kudos for your daughter for sure. But don't you suppose those who did that kind of word-of-mouth promotion, still do it despite the abrupt end of the old forum? Do you know anyone who was so p.o.ed about that they quit liking Jackie?

Its pretty hard to spread the word when you don't have any idea of what the word is. A good portion of those people relied on Lisa's forum to keep them up to date on where and when Jackie would be performing. Not everyone is good enough on a computer to find what is out there to find. Unless you frequent Amazon or one of our members personally invites you, you won't be able to find this forum. (yet) So far we are 90 strong and growing. In time i hope we will have the membership to organize fan gatherings as we used to when we had 20-50 people coming but i don't see that happening when her regular fans know nothing about the gatherings.
