I think Jackie is an equestrian herself. Recall a photo some time ago of her on a nicely groomed horse in English tack and she in English riding attire. I am a professional horseman, and can see she is sitting the horse properly and looks confident. Perhaps she's been invited simply as a guest. I am not saying that is wrong, but it is far from clear to me what Jackie does frequently and what was a rare event -- part of growing up. I did many things as a child for short periods of time which have survived in pictures, but I certainly didn't do them regularly. Some things like horseback riding and archery only have appeared a few times for Jackie, so it doesn't mean to me that she does them frequently. Other things like drawing (and singing ) we have seen many times, so I think that I would be safe in assuming that she does them regularly.
The photo I was referring to shows me that Jackie has either been taking English riding lessons or the photo was staged. I doubt the latter, but I don't discount the possibility. But, whoever dressed Jackie up in the appropriate riding attire and seated her in proper position with knee bent correctly and foot position in the stirrup at the right angle knew what he/she was doing. Also the horse was properly tacked with an English saddle and bridle and was well groomed with an English style shave (like dogs are shaved for shows) The question then is.....why? This not a photo of Jackie simply horseback riding. No matter really. Just an educated observation. I should not have referred to Jackie as an "equestrian", probably misleading. It's a common term for those who do more than casual riding.

Does anyone know what the Chinese writing means? It says, "youngest opera singer". She just can't shake that. The big writing at the bottom of the poster (the one posted by Shawn Liu, not the one posted by yellowstone) says qi1 yue4 niao3 chao2 7 moon (i.e. July) bird's nest (which I assume is the venue) quan2 qiu2 shou3 yan3 world premier So in July, at the Bird's Nest, is the world premier of this show. Sorry, I don't have any other way of indicating the tones than numbers at the ends of the words. 3rd tone becomes 2nd tone before another 3rd tone, so the 2nd line is spoken quan2 qui2 shou2 yan3. The writing at the top is too small for me to read. But I'll take Mike's word for it that it says youngest opera singer. They don't show Jackie's Chinese name, which is Xiao3 Jia3 Ji1 (spoken xiao2 jia3 ji1), or Little Jackie. (She probably hasn't done anything to "outgrow" her name, LOL.) Oh, 1st tone is high & steady. 2nd tone is medium high & rising. 3rd tone is low & U-shaped, falling then rising. 4th tone is falling, starting off high & ending up low.

Your poster includes a bit of the Chinese translation. To add to it, in the middle is Troy, or Te4 Luo4 Yi1 in Chinese (no surprise!). Then comes the translation by Zhi Zhi: Humans and Gods Dance United Handsome Horse Creates Another Legend On the bottom we have 2017 year 7 moon (July) Beijing Bird's Nest (which is the venue, like I said; according to Zhi Zhi, this is the Beijing National Stadium). Below that it says world premier again.

I can't read Chinese. I was just joking about the "youngest opera singer" thing.

This is a bigger deal than I originally thought. Based on what I can hear, and what I have commented on before, this is the kind of music she is meant to sing, Epic.

Since then the names of many Chinese cities were changed to better reflect the Chinese names.

This is so easy, I bet Jackie is singing the theme song! I'm taking bets now! Make me an interesting wager & you're on. $20 donation to Animal Friends of Pittsburgh I must confess I did find the Facebook post saying she was singing the theme song.

If the premiere is in July, why is Jackie there now? Rehearsal in the arena? Does she have to coordinate with the performance of the horses in some way? Someone is spending some bucks to have her fly to China now and back again in less than two months.

Someone is spending some bucks to have her fly to China now and back again in less than two months. I thought they said she was recording the theme. Wouldn't they play at least some recorded (rather than live) music for such a large venue? Especially since the main attraction seems to be the horses... Or maybe you're right, it's rehearsal now & she'll go back for the performance(s). The movie composer, Sebastian Cano-Besquet, seems to have been impressed by Jackie, surely a good thing.

Now it's offical:
Jackie sang the theme song for Troy, an epic horse show in Beijing. Maybe, Sebastian Cano-Besquet is the composer. Anyway, this could be an entrance in the Chinese market. The screen shot above is from the comments here: (See the yellow highlighted text above): One FB fan said this is the Troy theme song she recorded (back at least last October.) IF it is Jackie's voice, it has has a electronic processed quality I think. Still not answered why Jackie is there now. Will she sing it again, or is she a guest? Jackie looks kind of like one of the actresses/riders. Don edited (Previously posted by Yellowstone): It is Jackie's style of vibrato at the end.
