It's a theatrical production, not a movie. And I don't believe Jackie is in the cast. She's the "Ambassador" Well we'll soon know. Jackie said it was a "short" trip. Perhaps it is something along these lines... (2013) Sarah B. becomes "promotional ambassador" for Chinese firm: www.chinadaily.com.cn/beijing/2013-06/28/content_16682774.htmNow that's interesting. Sounds as though you've hit on it. Although doubt Jackie's going into outer space for them.

Now I know what it is, but still don't know, what Jackie has to do with it. It is a horse show from Germany named "Troy", You see the translation from the following German page : www.noz.de/lokales/samtgemeinde-fuerstenau/artikel/879352/pferdeshow-made-in-fuerstenau-soll-china-begeistern#That's via Google Translate:
An ambitious cavalry team has now boldly broke to Beijing to conquer the Chinese audience with the horse show "Troy" (Troy). The group has been preparing for six months in Fürstenau. More than 40 players from ten European nations, including 55 horses from the Shetlandpony to the Shire Horse, have transformed the equestrian facility of Luciana Diniz in Fürstenau over the past six months to the legendary city Troy of the poet Homer - and dramatically revived with equestrian art, acrobatics , Exclusive music compositions, a high-tech light stage and special effects of a special kind. And, of course, with plenty of hoof treads. Human and economic contacts strengthen Why all the effort? Sacha Eckjans, Managing Director of the Equestrian Globe in Georgsmarienhütte and initiator of the German-Chinese cooperation project, is sure that the "Troy" cultural exchange intensifies the contacts between the two countries - and in many ways: "This show is not only the sporting and economic , But also strengthen human relations. "When Eckjans, who is the official representative of the German Equestrian Federation (FN) for China, traveled to the Middle Ages a few years ago, he found that neither the traditional German riding technique nor the successful sport horse breed Well known, let alone adequately represented. "Most of the Chinese assume that all European horses come from the Netherlands," says Eckjans, sobered. High-tech spectacle is likely to arrive This narrow view, combined with the observation, "with increasing enthusiasm, Chinese people are interested in all age groups both for horses and for modern Western entertainment," alerted the horse and show man. Together with the FN, a German investor and Chinese partners he organized the concentrated cultural and hippological reconnaissance campaign "Troy". "We believe that the mixture of the epochal events around the Trojan war, coupled with horses, spectacular battles, a dramatic love story and unprecedented special effects are well received by the Chinese," the native Sauerländer is confident. A total of 840 times the show will be performed in ten Chinese cities in the coming years. The makers expect more than two million spectators. No performances planned in Europe Anyone who has become curious now, however, has bad luck - or a long journey ahead: For in Europe there will be no revival of the Greek myth on the show stage. While Las Vegas, as Eckjans explains, has already registered interest in the "Horseeshow made in Fürstenau". However, if the concept of German-Chinese cooperation ceases, he can well imagine that cultural culture will also be different in the near future, and that a classic Chinese fabric, such as Genghis Khan, will be produced in China and then listed in Europe. My comment: Maybe, they will bring this show to the US and Jackie should be the ambassador for it.

Since this actress has sent so many of her own horses to China, and she is there now with them for "Troy", she likely will do a lot of the riding (wasn't it Helen of Troy?) In some pictures this actress's figure and hair look a lot like Jackie's. I wonder if that is only a coincidence - or not? Yellowstone, I like your previous post's line saying". . . equestrian art, acrobatics , Exclusive music compositions, . . . Maybe Jackie is only rehearsing or auditioning now for this show, that starts in July? Don

I think Jackie is an equestrian herself. Recall a photo some time ago of her on a nicely groomed horse in English tack and she in English riding attire. I am a professional horseman, and can see she is sitting the horse properly and looks confident. Perhaps she's been invited simply as a guest.

I am not saying that is wrong, but it is far from clear to me what Jackie does frequently and what was a rare event -- part of growing up. I did many things as a child for short periods of time which have survived in pictures, but I certainly didn't do them regularly. Some things like horseback riding and archery only have appeared a few times for Jackie, so it doesn't mean to me that she does them frequently. Other things like drawing (and singing ) we have seen many times, so I think that I would be safe in assuming that she does them regularly.

Now it's offical:
Jackie sang the theme song for Troy, an epic horse show in Beijing. Maybe, Sebastian Cano-Besquet is the composer. Anyway, this could be an entrance in the Chinese market. The screen shot above is from the comments here:

Personally, I would've nominated Jackie to portray the title character, Helen of Troy - "The face that launched a thousand ships, and caused the topless towers of Illium to burn."
