"I looked everywhere for Sarah Brightman's In Pace. I think it is definitely one that Jackie was made to sing..." believer The only place I have found her performance of In Pace is on her phenomenal album "Time To Say Goodbye". It's not on youtube. Thank you for the choral video it's the closest rendition to Sarah I have ever heard. If you play TTSG you will understand why Dame Brightman has sold 70 million albums. To me she will always be the Queen of Classical Crossover. I'm going to buy that album and let you know what I think.

To me she will always be the Queen of Classical Crossover. Nicola (Jarvis) Tilley, the founder of the Classical-Crossover.co.uk - Forums website considers Sarah Brightman to be the founder/inventor of this modern genre. Before the website was automated, she had a huge web section on all of Sarah's works with detailed explanations of their content. Sarah Brightman was the primary reason Nicola started the website. Interestingly, apparently Sarah Brightman dislikes the term Classical Crossover and may not care to be placed in this so-called musical slot. Apparently, Lisa found the cc-uk website early on and contacted Nicola for comments on Jackie. Nicola was struck by Jackie's talent and, IIRC, put her with other artists on that website before AGT, when Jackie was about 9. The story was that Nicola recognized Jackie's great talent and potential to a much larger extent than Jackie's parents at that time. This cc-uk website was a big help in starting to generate interest in Jackie. The above is what I remember about how this back story unfolded at that time.

It didn't used to be that way. I would think In Pace would still be on youtube, even as only audio.

There's something about the following song that is very haunting. I first heard it being sung by a brilliant Khazak singer by the name of Dimash. He's like a rock star in his country. The song is in French and is normally sung by men, but with a word change any one can sing it. Jackie would be fantastic singing this song. Check it out.

I don't think anyone else on this planet should even try this song. No one else is worthy. Dimash should have it all to himself;

The only other person I can think of who could match him is Maria Carey in her youth. She also had four octaves PLUS a 5th(called the Whistle octave). "Vocal gymnastics"??Yeah listen to this;

I'm not Country(even though I grew up in Mississippi)but I love this song and tear up when the fab Emily West sings it. I tried to find the video where she made every Country artist in that room cry(Celebrity Apprentice 8 years ago) but it probably was taken down. This is the official video for her album;

My personal non-Jackie favorite I think she blew every circuit in the mother board with that last note!!!! Unbelievable!!! When was that recorded and how old was she? Is that her father on keyboards? I wonder if Mariah has heard it and if so did she reach out to this incredible young singer. I'm gobsmacked.

Either way, I'm blown away by this guy. I read somewhere that Dimash in some ways has patterned his singing on Ukraine's singer named Vitas. They are very similar in approach to singing and using their voices as musical instruments.
