Jackie Evancho Shares Stunning New Concert Footage In the new clip, Evancho stands at the microphone wearing a sparkly red dress. As we’ve come to expect, the singer sounds absolutely angelic on her rendition of the Christian hymn “How Great Thou Art.” A studio version of the song appears on Evancho’s 2017 album Two Hearts. It’s famously been sung by artists such as Elvis Presley and Carrie Underwood.
Fans made sure to comment on the soaring performance on Instagram, with one person writing, “Heavenly voice of a beautiful human.” Another fan told Evancho, “Never heard such a BEAUTIFUL rendition of the wonderful song!! You definitely sing like an Angel, keep on being YOU!!!”
The singer also shared the video on YouTube, where even more fans commented how much they enjoyed the performance. As one commenter wrote, “Finally a new video! This is one of the best songs you perform.”

I don't understand why every live video of Jackie's performances (and other artists as well), cut off the audiences reaction and length of applause at the end of the performance!! How the audience reacts to a performance is just as entertaining as the performance itself! If those watching the video are as impressed as those attending the performance, then the artist can be assured that what she just delivered will be given the highest honor!
And listening to or participating in the audiences reaction, is a dynamic indicator as to the quality of the performance!! JMO

I know a lot of videos of Jackie with applause. For such good shots, however, you also have to sit in the right place, not in front but rather in the middle, a little sideways. Otherwise, it won't work. Besides, either you film or you applaud, both together are difficult.

I can tell you why...at least in my case when I was at filming a lot of her Nashville concert. I stopped recording at the end of each song so that I could put down my camera and clap. Of course, I was right up by the stage and she could see me, and I ddn't want her to see me not applauding. Also, people are trying to share Jackie's performance and likely not even remotely thinking about recording anything the audience is doing. And while I do understand your point about audience reactions, I also think most viewers are interested in Jackies performance, not the audience clapping.
