As a matter of interest...."Built in 1898, the Carnegie Library of Homestead was constructed by William Miller and Sons of Pittsburgh at a cost of $250,000. The second of three libraries built here in the Mon Valley, the Carnegie Library of Homestead was built for use by the common man but adorned with grandeur and opulence fit for a royal family. The Carnegie Library of Homestead is the oldest Carnegie library in continuous operation in its original structure in the US, and was chosen by CNN in 2014 as one of the 27 most fascinating libraries in the world to visit. Unique to other libraries, it also is home to a full-service athletic facility and grand concert hall...." More info with seating chart: librarymusichall.com/about

Beat tomorrow morning's rush for tickets. :-) Actually, this presale b.s. kind of annoys me I was considering going, knowing the tickets were to start selling on 10/14. Now that I see this "presale" garbage, I go in to check out to mabye buy a ticket early, and all the good seats that I would have wanted are sold. lol...what a load of bullsh*t. Either they go on sale on 10/14 or they don't. What's with this "presale" crap?

Ticket access has frequently not been egalitarian. For plenty of venues, membership or season tickets give early access; I think that’s part of how the wealthier regulars manage to get front row seats so often. They‘ve also played the game often enough that they know that, and in the past, to see what local PBS or radio stations had to offer. I saw this on a semi-timely basis (the post said it was 21 minutes old), and the very front row was already gone, but the next row back was still there, which was ok with me. Only rarely have I gotten front row.
I did post the link here shortly AFTER getting my own ticket. :-) And I wasn’t that disappointed that I wouldn’t have to try to fight a mad 10am rush (or set an alarm for it).

Im glad you are happy, but I'm still annoyed. lol I get one thing from Jackie saying tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 am, plan to jump onsite immediately at ten, only to find out the next day that contrary to what was send out the previous day, their is now a presale, that I missed of course, and can not even have a shot at that front row. Boo!!!! On the bright side, looks like you will still get a fabulous view from the second row. lol

Many of the regulars are savvy in the machinations to get preferred access to something, but not all of them are into internet and social media much (I can think of a few that rarely if ever seem to comment or "like" on Jackie's social media posts), except that anyone with a decent laptop can have three or four browsers ready to hit enter at 1 second past selling time. So your odds are better looking for a presale than trying to get through the pile-on at the beginning of regular sales. In other words, I or even someone later seeing my post here could probably do better using the presale than trying to get through at the exact same moment everyone else was if there had been no presale.
To look at it another way, on the other site there are a number of people that regularly complain that Jackie doesn't use social media enough. Well, this time she not only did, but rewarded those paying attention. :-)
edit: and given the low sales (give or take last minute) on some of the City Winery stops so far, her "team" and/or the venue might have an interest in the additional feedback of seeing what happens in presale vs regular sale, as a way of predicting how things might go and how/how much to promote it. It is at any rate another data point.

As of now there is 365 tickets sold for the concert. So she'll probably have around 400 tickets sold, give or take. That's respectable for Jackie these days.
