Rock star, Bret Michaels interview on The Masked Singer as The Banana who was eliminated in the Smackdown episode with Kitty. As you may know, Bret is from the Pittsburgh area and was acquainted with Jackie and her Dad years ago. He and Jackie had no idea they were on Masked Singer together.
Comments on the video from two knowledgeable fans:
"....They met and hung out a bit when she was 12, and they both happened to be doing a gig in the same neighborhood in Vegas."
"They also met on the set of America's Got Talent in 2010. Bret Michaels just dug up an old photo of them taken together and posted it on his twitter. He was a guest artist on episode #4 2010. Jackie auditioned a week later on episode #5 2010. He also posted a photo with her from what looks like a concert he did in Pittsburgh in possibly 2009. They were both originally from towns near Pittsburgh. Guessing Jackie's dad Mike was a big Poison fan. He made sure he was in the photo."

That posting "Season 9 Host & Panelists of The Masked Singer" is complete baloney as one of the alleged panelists is DEAD (i.e., Ann Heche whose true name is Anne Heche). Where this crap came from would be interesting to know. Sorry, but this article doesn't make sense. I got the google search alert for it too, but when everything else I saw contradicted it, I did NOT post it. To me it looks a bit better than an AI attempting to make up the contents, but not much better. If Jackie could do 70% perky/30% edgy (which she probably could) and follows enough stuff to come up with decent guesses (probably) since they don't need two of Ken Jeong nearly always getting it wrong , she could be among the one show guest judges; there have been some that were previous contestants AFAIK. But that's not what the article said, rather it had a completely new (and unlikely) lineup different from what every other site I saw had describing season 9. |

Will the same panel and host be returning? Yes. Nick Cannon is returning as host, with Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke all back as panelists. Who will be appearing as a guest star or guest panelist? It's not known at this time who will be appearing alongside our usual panel, but given that the themed nights are back, we can expect more starry cameos. |

"On this channel this video of Jackie (Kitty) Evancho has the most views by far of all the season 3 contestants. You have to go back to the top contestants from season 1 when The Masked Singer was new and had bigger overall fan interest to find more views on a singer. In fact none of the later season contestants, even the winners, got even a fraction of the views of this video."
