If there is a vote on the Welcome Guest thread, my vote will be to cancel it. And failing that I would at least like to see the Admin quickly deleting any type of negative post by guest.

The comparisons that are being made under the Welcome Guest heading are invidious comparisons that are in no way meant to be helpful or thoughtful. For that reason I would also vote to cancel it.

Taking a poll to delete the Welcome Guest thread will no doubt provide an opportunity to discuss the pros and cons. Of course an educated vote would require one to be familiar with the content existing since socalfan announced his plan to create his new forum, Page 19, Oct. 5. Since then the thread has not served a useful purpose in my opinion, but instead become a platform for detractors.
Admin is not likely to delete "negative" posts. Otherwise he would have been provoked to do so some time ago. I am in favor of a vote and pertinent discussion.

I suggest deleting the Guest Board. It's never been anything but a troll thread, anyway. It's not as if it costs anything to join here or requires any commitment. Other threads have been deleted which had content that was far less tedious and obnoxious. Why don't we put it up for a vote. Members only, of course. Maybe you should look on the guest board as the attic where we keep the crazy uncle. (Or aunt in this case.) yes , a lot of people are coming out of the closets in the house .

Admin:
On my MS, Firefox, on the Home page, there is a white line that says Home >, then approx. 9 or 10 blank green lines, then another white line that says Hello! Welcome to our Jackie Evancho fan forum. Are the blank green lines there for a reason? And if not, can you get rid of them to shorten the space between Jackie's photo and the Forum Information and Statistics line? I think it would look better without the blank lines!

That is space for adverdisement. May be, you have an Ad-blocker. On my screen, there is an Ad from a local phone company in this space.

Admin:
In the subject labeled "Concerts", could you move the concerts held in 2017 to "past concerts"?

Here's more "housecleaning" for Admin to do; delete the Inauguration forum. It's been over a year with very little input. Time to make it go away.

The Inauguration was a milestone for Jackie. I'm not deleting this Board.

The Inauguration was a milestone for Jackie. I'm not deleting this Board. I agree, but should there be a place to move old event-specific threads? (other than old concerts, because there are events that aren't concerts) Two advantages: one, keeps the current threads less cluttered; and two, discussion about some sorts of events may generate more heat than light. That's probably ok while it's still fairly current, but hardly helpful to keep stirring the pot (IMO).
