Had to go to archives to get this thread. Bummer!
Must be a really slow summer. Lindsay is back to #1 and TH is back up to #7 from #10.
While I was there, BB, I like to look up stuff. They show Jackie with 9 albums and 25 songs, Lindsay 1 album and 7 songs. Since we have 6 pages on the Grace VDW thread - BB has her with 0 albums and 0 songs.
Of all the gripping over low sales . . . . Jackie has had an extraordinary career, period.

It occurred to me that when Jackie performed DWM she was very young and her age/size did not match her voice for a normal child that age. Jackie's voice now is still phenomenal and more mature and now is a closer match to her age/size. My point is it is difficult to compare her albums such as DWM to her more current music. Not only is her current music less classical it does not have the young child wow factor. However her new stuff has the young woman wow factor. I don't think any young performer has ever been watched by so many and so intently to her growth and development from being a child transitioning into womanhood. I have enjoyed every album and single song so far and really enjoy the anticipation of another album to come......and it too will be played often and enjoyed. i completely disagree on "" " watched by so many so intently to her growth bah bah bah "" , Miss Temple did ok , Miss Swift gets BILLIONS of viewers on one video , Jackie has very few thousands active fans truth be told , DWM album was her best because of AGT and her age and her voice , where have the GOLD ones since her growth and development and WHY , just a question all fans should ask

Good work , must be lots of her fans not knowing of this Album but i believe if memory is correct that schrodinger and Cleo said they thought this was her " best album yet " , i disagree but gave it a B+ but did not think it would sell big because of two types of music in it , even though her "" musical genius "" as some say .

Yellowstone2014:
Unfortunately, I did not know that statistical fact as usually the doom & gloomers overshadow this type of info with their sales figures.

I watched a documentary on Tower Records last night about their beginning around San Francisco area and expanded to LA, NY, Japan, Asia, and just about everywhere. Meteoric rise in the 60's thru 2000. Everywhere they put in a store the day it opened people were waiting in line to buy records. Big name people Elton, The Boss, etc were giving testimonies on how much an influence it was. Then came digital cd's..... Finally it was over. The son of the founder at the end said he sees no reason for anybody to buy music.
That said Jackie is still in the top 10 (7) in her category. There are a lot of other artist that are not selling like the 70's. My daughter was a state champ in here category one year, 8-10 year old, but I was just as proud as if she had won the Olympics. Let's try to look for the good.

Yeah, that's why they scheduled this total solar eclipse -- to give people something to do until Jackie is back on stage again. Next summer they might steer a comet closer to earth. Thanks for posting that. The Pittsburgh concert is my favorite, to date, that I've attended. Nothing special, no surprises, just Jackie at the top of her game. I'd be tempted to go to Greensburg if it weren't in December.

It does have the target symbol for Gains in Performance on the left. Does that mean it sold more copies than a week ago?
