If Jackie were ever inspired to sing in German, Shubert's Serenade is an exceptionally beautiful song I would like to hear with her voice. Nana Mouskouri has been a long time favorite of mine.

It's my week to listen to Bee gee music. There are two songs I would like Jackie to sing. I will add two more songs to this post if you don't mind;

Which tenor would you want to sing with Jackie on this song?

catmando,
I think I would prefer one who does not have to use power for the high notes more of a crooner type voice of a mellow timbre kinda baritonish yet dynamic with subtle vibrato to compliment Jackie, not compete with her. Hmmm...This will take some research. Oh, and not too tall.

When it comes to very classical sounding music, as in this case, it is my opinion, she should "Seize the Day" with someone like Placido Domingo. Their previous efforts were excellent.

Born in Siena, Italy, Safina has sought to combine his interests in opera and modern pop music

Katya Shelehova is absolutely beautiful...both her and her music. She was born in Russia in 1995 and moved with her family to Canada. Her first album, 'Moonlight' is available but the above two songs and Moonlight are the only tracks. I think the music is perfect for Jackie and would love to hear her unique interpetation of both.
I started a new thread in Other Artists

I like this melody. After hearing a few others perform this, I think Jackie would do this better than the rest:

I'm just leaving the house Trebor. Didn't have time to listen to your suggestions but Lux Aeterna has made every list of proposed Jackie songs in the near seven years I've been following her. I bet it's been suggested on this thread several times already. Anyone have Jackie's number? Call her!
