Why are you skeptical it was because of the flu,(or as a sick hater would type it FLU)? How long do you think the flu would effect vocal artist, other than Jackie? How long was this ridiculously excessive recovery time cer? I'm skeptical that Jackie needs three and halve months to recover from the flu And where do you get 3 1/2 months from nipper? I see cancellation of appearances between 29 Jan and 16 Fed, that's LESS than 3 weeks. |

Why is it so important to keep pursuing theoretical causes of Jackie's concert cancellations? She had her reasons. Can we just respect that and move forward with her?

Jackie's website lists her concert schedule under events. There are presently 8 concerts scheduled from June 2 to July 29.

I've complained here recently about Jackie's schedule keeping her mainly on the East or West Coasts, but at least I can look forward to another scheduled for here in East Texas, though not as near as I would like. I know there's nothing for you near Nebraska but hopefully she will begin to at least "fill in" the rest of the country of Middle America. The last time Mike and I saw her was last May in Indianapolis where we at least got to visit with agog and make one of our usual historical side trips into Kentucky and visit some Civil War battlefields. I hope you start attending concerts again and that we see you at one before too long. |

People on the coasts don't realize how terrifying it is to live in "flyover country." Every time I see an airliner in the sky I hope nobody on the plane flushes the loo.
