I'm still a tad skeptical that her reason for cancelling those concerts was because of the FLU, but who cares now. She is back up and running again, and I say good for her! :-) Why are you skeptical it was because of the flu,(or as a sick hater would type it FLU)? How long do you think the flu would effect vocal artist, other than Jackie? How long was this ridiculously excessive recovery time cer? |

Oh jamesn, I've been waiting a long time to see Jackie live in my country, the Inland Northwest. I couldn't make the Seattle or Portland concerts. Have you computed the number of concerts that JE in "flyover country" divided by the number of people who live there and compare it to the number of concerts on either coast divided by the number of people who live there?
As Jackie has said, she isn't political (or something similar). I am sure that she would go anywhere where the money was right. Now actually Jackie probably does have an opinion on politics, but she has not said what it is, and I think that is exactly what she should do at this point.

I'm skeptical that Jackie needs three and halve months to recover from the flu in order to perform again. Unless she had strep throat, I think something else happened. It's possible that she had her regular check up with Dr. Scott(her ETM doc) and they found something, perhaps vocal nodules. Hope not but why would she cancel the Friday concert in California in April and continue the Saturday one? I just heard a duet with Jackie and Bocelli's son at the March 15th fundraiser in Florida and it sounded like to me that she has no power. Her voice sounded weak in comparison to Bocelli's who was loud and you could hear him, but I had a hard time understanding what Jackie singing. It was taped on a cell phone but still had a hard time hearing Jackie's part. |
