I think that it will be rather interesting to ask this question and look at the results of the poll.

It actually makes it easier to vote because if you wanted to have two it would then make it a hard decision.

I commented a few times on the previous proboards that picking your favorites was too easy (I did it of course) and polls really should make the user think hard. In this case, Awakening hands down. DWM has sentimental value, but I would pick SFSS over it if forced to choose between the two. Yeah, I know, something is wrong with me.

From the very first time I heard it, "Awakening" became my favorite album. I think part of that is due to some personal sentimental connections with some of the songs, too, and that can make a difference (at least for me). That said, I also love each and every one of Jackie's other albums, too, don't get me wrong! . Each has its own appeal and in its own way. I am looking forward to what we will be getting from Jackie in the future, too, but I'll always treasure the albums and music from her that we already have.

Awakening for me... like the mix of songs and her more mature sound.

For me Jackie's greatest work, her masterpiece, her crowning glory, is Dream With Me. Ombra Mai Fu, Nessun Dorma, OMBC, Angel, Imaginer, Mi Mancherai, none of the songs on Awakening compare to these. If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life it would be Dream With Me.

Awakening was to a certain extent to skewed to each extreme end of the CC spectrum. Songs like Ave Maria, Dormi Jesu and Vocalise on one end and Memories, With or Without You and Take me there on the opposite end. It was unlike Dream with Me which was more balanced with many songs in the middle of the spectrum. Love both albums though as they are able to show off the beauty of Jackie's voice.

Songs from the Silver Screen because at 12 years old, it was all Jackie, no MC as she was in charge of the whole show and she really impressed me with the whole package. She showed maturity way beyond her years and I thought it was wonderful.

Awakening is my favourite, because for me Jackie's voice becomes more beautiful as she develops new skills and sophistication. All of her albums have been great to my ears. And following her often difficult journey as she grows as an artist and as a person is like watching a garden grow. Sometimes there are weeds and gnawing insects, but so far the flowers have survived and brought us much happiness. There are bigger gardens in the world, swollen by large amounts of fertiliser, but none so promising and natural as Jackie. Just my humble opinion.

DWM by far , " Lovers " on an her All Time Best " N D ", imo of course as I believe that was her best sound in a tone
