IT IS TIME It is time to let go of comparing Jackie's past when she was a child and young teen to today now that she is an adult. It is clear that many have made comment about how Jackie was raised as a child and how her career was influenced and guided substantially by her parents. Whether you believe Jackie should have been given opportunity to access outside resources in career development or NOT matters little when you consider that a parents primary duty is to raise their children THEIR way without backseat drivers. Jackie now is an adult and in charge of her career and who she decides to have help in advice and support is her decision to make. OUR interest should be simple ----- sit back and enjoy what she does, recognize that their will be difficulties to overcome --- in her way, and if anyone finds that a huge pill to swallow then it really is time to find some new child star to trounce or enjoy. Congratulations Gordie, you have seen the light. 💡 This is not some new revelation to Gordie. He has always had a respectful regard for how Jackie's parents have raised her and her siblings while managing her career, guiding her through her young years as a star and as their child who's welfare has always been their primary concern. Anyone's criticism of their judgment is irrelevant as she now steers her own ship, grateful to her parents for, as she said, having "made all the right decisions". That's what matters to Jackie as she embarks on this self-determined journey, equipped with all she has learned from them, empowered by their family bond, and with the advice she has gleaned from music professionals who have mentored her.

Yes Gordie Yes, that is what Jackie has been trying to convey to you stubborn mules for the last 2 years, now it appears she named her new album "The Debut" just for that purpose. 💡

Note that Jackie has changed her eye shadow to a reddish tone from the blue she used to use. Much more becoming. Again, bet it was on the recommendation of her new stylist, as were the very chic clothes she was wearing.

Julia, I bet Jackie chose her eye shadow herself to compliment her present hair color, as well as the Mondrian-inspired top, considering that makeup and clothing will be a part of her developing "empire". She has often said she does her own makeup for concerts, and selects her own performance dresses. I'll give her credit for creativity and stylish taste. Did you watch the 20+ minute BUILD interview?

Yes, I commented on it. Maybe it was in the other Forum. The gist of what I said was that I thought that Jackie seemed older and more "together" and her outfit was sophisticated and perfect. However, I didn't really concentrate on the substance, because like all PR interviews, these are usually the same. As Mike C. pointed out, I should have. The interviewer was more serious than he looked and he asked Jackie some serious questions about the preparation for her album. Her PR advisor, whoever that is now, had not prepared her to answer questions like that and she came across as someone totally disengaged from the production of her album, except for the singing. That has to be corrected and I imagine it soon will be. At least Will N is experienced enough in the biz to know that, even if Jackie just comes in, sings and goes home, she has to fake a deeper involvement
