Note that Jackie has changed her eye shadow to a reddish tone from the blue she used to use. Much more becoming. Again, bet it was on the recommendation of her new stylist, as were the very chic clothes she was wearing. Julia, I bet Jackie chose her eye shadow herself to compliment her present hair color, as well as the Mondrian-inspired top, considering that makeup and clothing will be a part of her developing "empire". She has often said she does her own makeup for concerts, and selects her own performance dresses. I'll give her credit for creativity and stylish taste. Did you watch the 20+ minute BUILD interview? arts Most singers, who can afford it, hire stylists to dress them for the stage, As well as makeup people. However, the tradition in the theater (as opposed to music concerts) is often for even stars of the play to do their own makeup, because, I suppose, they had to learn the skill coming up. There was no other option.

Yes, I commented on it. Maybe it was in the other Forum. The gist of what I said was that I thought that Jackie seemed older and more "together" and her outfit was sophisticated and perfect. However, I didn't really concentrate on the substance, because like all PR interviews, these are usually the same. As Mike C. pointed out, I should have. The interviewer was more serious than he looked and he asked Jackie some serious questions about the preparation for her album. Her PR advisor, whoever that is now, had not prepared her to answer questions like that and she came across as someone totally disengaged from the production of her album, except for the singing. That has to be corrected and I imagine it soon will be. At least Will N is experienced enough in the biz to know that, even if Jackie just comes in, sings and goes home, she has to fake a deeper involvement I do not disagree with your opinion about getting deeply involved in her career/business beyond the singing. I think of it like prior to adulthood it was if she was learning to ride a bike with training wheels --- now the training wheels are off, she peddling and steering on her own with sideline support but with practice she will gain the confidence she needs.
