to finally decide to GROW UP. And part of that is not taking the summer off when she should be touring wherever she can, to promote her "debut" album, as an adult. Well said Julia. As a long time, dedicated, loyal, JME fan, I say Jackie NEEDS to take charge. I have my ticket for this concert. Hope to see some old concert friends there.

It's only March, and because Jackie's tour schedule hasn't been posted yet, you folks have her loafing for the summer. Jackie HAS grown up, moved to NY to become independent and has taken charge of her career, working hard for months making this album with great anticipation of it's release and a tour that Will, her concert director, has been promoting. The tour begins with her performance in NY at 54 below April 23rd. Let's see what happens with the Bandsintown tour schedule on Jackie's site before we have her spending the summer lying around on the beach, horseback riding, river rafting, hiking and all that fun stuff she did with family following graduation last year.

Just watched a Instagram story, Jackie is in China and is missing her Maggie. Must have something to do with her merchandise deal.

It would appear that the Genesee thinks the 6th is the Debut's maiden tour concert!!
"Jackie Evancho: The Debut
Brand New Tour Coming to The Genesee!
Burn (Hamilton)
I'm Not That Girl (Wicked) Falling Slowly (Once)
She Used to Be Mine (Waitress) No Day but Today (Rent)
Requiem (Dear Evan Hansen) Once Upon a December (Anastasia) Never Enough (The Greatest Showman)
Since she first dazzled audiences with her stunning debut on America’s Got Talent, Jackie Evancho has risen to the top of the classical music charts, recording a string of platinum and gold albums and achieving sales of over 3 million in the U.S.
Now, with a new album and world tour, the classical crossover star sets her sights on Broadway's New American Songbook, featuring exciting selections from breakthrough musicals like Hamilton and Wicked to blockbuster films like The Greatest Showman and La La Land. Backed by a full orchestra, this amazing talent will also perform her fan favorites that continue to win audiences over."

Thank you, Willyiam I took the Waukegan concert to be a mix of Broadway selections along with Jackie's fan favorites as it states, not necessarily the debut concert for her album tour exclusively Broadway. Perhaps the Waukegan audience will have the benefit of a few more of her new album numbers than she has previously previewed.

As I recall, the set list of all tour concerts have a mix of a few selections from the new album and the remaining songs taken from earlier albums. What the set lists will look like with a new director is anybodies guess, but my gut feel is that the Genesee set list will be what is offered going forward!
Edit: As a side note, how many Broadway tunes are there to chose from? I would think that Jackie would want to pick recent songs that the general public would recognize, rather than going back in time, and that would diminish the songs that she can pick from!

My understanding is that the upcoming tour is to promote The Debut ( The Debut Tour). Consequently the set list will consist of all the songs on the album (10). She will no doubt include fan favorites for a complete concert set list of 15+ songs. So far she has performed only 2-3 from the album in recent concerts. Apparently her performance at 54 Below will be the first to include all the album songs, if I remember her promotional statements correctly.

I am fairly certain that most of us here are so pleased that you are not Jackie. It really is unfortunate that your posts are equally dismal.

I hope she doesn't cancel, but her ticket sales for this particular concert aren't great.
