This will be Jackie's 2nd performance at this venue! She was there on May 19, 2017 and the turnout was lousy then too! "As best we could tell the seats in the Genesee Theater were around 1/3 or so of the way filled".
Apparently, Waukeganites are just not that enthralled with Jackie!
We might ask (Then why did she go back?)
Probably there is a sponsor for this concert, so Jackie should get her money, even there is no ticket sold. Way too many empty seats. Sponsor or no sponsor, I hope she doesn't go back to that venue for awhile. It's still not a good look for her.

With a half a month to go, this venue is following the lousy attendance as her first gig! At least, with ticket sales in the basement, the venue is attempting to liven things up with a 50% ticket discount.
"Receive over 50% off Jackie Evancho Tickets!"
How do we get the word out?
Also, this is touted as "Brand New Tour Coming to The Genesee!". This will be the maiden concert of her Debut tour and deserves to have a better turnout!!

No matter the size of the audience, she gives her best to entertain them, unlike those who would cancel a low turnout. Just do your best to promote her and encourage folks to attend a Jackie concert --anywhere, anytime--even though you wouldn't think of going yourself.

She definitely gives her best independent of the crowd, but I would think that she notices if there are a lot of empty seats.

Ursus, Do you recall a concert a little over a year ago, I think, when she (directly or indirectly) invited those sitting in the back to move up front in a low attendance venue?

I vaguely recall it although it seems longer ago. Perhaps it has happened more than once.

I attended Jackie's concert in Redding CA June 4 2018. It too was a very low turn out and Jackie invited everyone to come forward to the seats closer to the stage. Two nights later she performed two concerts on June 6th and 7th in Folsom CA. which is approx. 180 miles away and is known to be a much more conservative community. I attended both nights and she had a very good turn out on both nights.

How can Jackie debut The Debut when she has only three concerts scheduled in the next two months? I would think that she would have more concerts scheduled by now. Maybe after the release and the media appearances her list of concerts will increase but in all honesty, she should have several more already scheduled by now.

Nipper, Bandsintown may be waiting for a completed list as before. It could suddenly appear any day with a schedule encompassing several months.

She's been taking the summers off the last eight years Julia, I see no reason why this year would be any different. What's your take on the new album, do you actually think it's a game changer?

What's your take on the new album, do you actually think it's a game changer? Well, I think "I'm Not That Girl" gives a hint of what she's trying for and if she sticks with it and refines it, she may indeed rebrand herself. However, the thing everyone dances around, is that in current pop, sex and flesh sells. Also high profile tabloid romances, faux or otherwise, is also an important part of a big time pop career. Jackie no longer has a chance of attracting tweens with youtube makeup videos, if she ever did. She's going to now have to make it with older teens and the 20-40 crowd. And she certainly has the pipes to do it, but she needs a first class producer, who knows how to use them, plus, to finally decide to GROW UP. And part of that is not taking the summer off when she should be touring wherever she can, to promote her "debut" album, as an adult.
