I purchased a ticket for Wednesday night, row A 107. I'm glad to see Jackie is having some summer time concerts. We shouldn't have to be concerned about valley fog driving to these concerts. "valley fog" is that a weather phenomenon, or something often present when rockers perform, that smells like burning rope?

The Folsom concert was just as wonderful as all her concerts I have attended. Her poise and sweetness still come thru. She wore the same two dresses as the Redding concert. Her red flower dress and the Champagne color. Her interaction with the audience was shown by the special acknowledgment she gave to the three young girls sitting in the front row. I was happy to witness this as earlier an usher had ruined the beginning of the concert for one of the little girls.
To all that wish to pass out fan keepsakes made by the fans, seek prior permission from the facility the concert is being held at. There was a problem passing out pins made by fans. The usher yanked a button out of a little girls hand and forced the giver to take it back. Then the police were called in to inform the fans we could not pass out buttons or we would be banned.

I know it broke my heart to witness the event. Only to imagine the little girls impression of her first Jackie concert. I just hope the interaction Jackie gave her made up for the trauma caused by the usher. It was like she became aware of the situation and wanted to make up for it the way she (Jackie) responded to the three girls. It was magical.

Thank's to Len Rausch … review with a couple of photos www.facebook.com/groups/160024457441608/permalink/1602366436540729/A review ofJackie's 06/06/18 and 06/07/18 Folsom, CA concerts! Jackie's fourth and fifth West Coast concerts were at the Harris Center in Folsom, CA on 06/06/18 and 06/07/18. Located just minutes from Sacramento, the $50 million, 80,000 square foot regional arts complex is a modern facility, located on the campus of Folsom Lake College, and was opened 2011. Seating capacity for the Stage 1 Theatre, where Jackie performed, is 850, and for each of these concerts, the attendance was estimated to be ~ 85+%. However, from the magnitude of the applause and cheers that followed each of Jackie's performances, I had to glance around to convince myself that another 1,000 fans hadn't somehow entered the theatre! There were very nice, enthusiastic turnouts for Jackie on both nights. 😊 - The format for these concerts continued in the same vein, with only Jackie and Peter on stage together. - Following her opening performance of "Lovers", Jackie announced that she would be including favorite selections from all of her past and current CD's, and also mentioned that she is currently working on a new album. Huge applause followed this announcement! - Dresses: > 1st set - Basic black, full length gown w/ red floral pattern. > 2nd set - Dazzling gold, full length gown, which brought out the usual "ooh's" and "awes'! - Jackie provided touching dedications of "The Impossible Dream" to her Mom and "How Great Thou Art" to her Great Grandmother. Each dedication included a very nice background story. - Following "Somewhere", during the medley, Jackie made a formal introduction of Peter, as her piano accompanist and musical director. Peter, in turn, thanked Jackie and then introduced the next song, including a humorous little quip that generated a good laugh from the audience. 1st Set Song List: - Lovers - The Way We Were - Think of Me - Medley > O Mio Babbino Caro > Con te partiro > Somewhere > When You Wish Upon a Star > The Prayer - Peter Kiesewalter Orchestral piece: > Overture from Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" - Imaginer - All of the Stars - The Impossible Dream (SO) 2nd Set Song List: - Set Me Free - Safe and Sound - Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Your Love - Peter Kiesewalter Orchestral piece: > Interlude from Bizet's "Carmen" - How Great Thou Art (SO) - Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again - Starry Starry Night (Vincent) - Music of the Night (SO) Encore: - Nessun Dorma (SO) Two more awesome concerts of the tour completed, with absolute perfection. Comments overheard from those around me, and from those exiting the theatre, were laced with nothing but the most complementary superlatives! 🎶 🎉
