One song I want to see again in the setlist is To Believe. I will also be very happen if Imaginer returns. "To Believe" is my absolute favorite. I don't expect to ever see it in concert. She did it for the Dream with Me taping, and at a special event almost 2 years ago, but I don't know of any other times that she's sung it live. "Your Love" is definitely my 2nd favorite. It doesn't pack the punch at the very end, like some of her songs do, but boy, does it KO you continually throughout the middle of the song. Because of that, I actually like the long soft instrumental portions at the beginning & end of the song. But I thought it might be gone forever, so when it made it's return for these concerts, I just about lost my mind. I thought I was imagining things.

I'm not very good as a reporter but I will try to give a review.
If you think of Jackie's concerts as a fine dinner, the soup and salad would be the pre-concert gathering and dessert would be the post concert get together. The get togethers before and after Jackie's concerts are an important part of the total experience, while her concert is the main course. I would recommend to all first time attendees, as I was, to attend at least one of the two gatherings and get to know some of the fans that come to her concerts. It was prior to entering the auditorium that I met the guy who was lucky enough to attend her very first concert in St.Paul's Methodist.
Everyone was allowed to enter the auditorium about 8:35 and everyone was buzzing before the string octet entered from the right. It became quiet as we waited for Jackie to make her entrance. I notice her set notes attached to the floor in the center of the stage. I looked for her bottles of water but I didn't see any. The was only a cup on a table in front of the piano.
Peter entered and announced Jackie. She made her entry in a form fitting sequined dark ruby dress which cut just above her knees to the music of "Lovers". The synthesized Taiko drum was very load. She started singing in a quiet voice but became quite strong before the end of the first verse. I was pleasantly surprised by how far she now held the mic from her mouth. Her voice soaring in the end. She then introduced each of the songs she would sing, "The way we were", the one of the big influences in her singing from the Phantom "Think of Me", "O Mio Bambino Caro". The duet she sang with Andria Bocelli in Italy "Con Te Partiro". The song with Babs "Somewhere". Peter introduced "WYWUS" as the Academy Award song sung by a puppet. She always does such a great job with that song. She introduced the song by David Foster "The Prayer". She then introduced and sang the song I was waiting for "OTR" complete with the intro she sang for Oprah, several of us gave he a standing ovation. She then sang her wonderful version of "May It Be" by Enya. She spoke of her difficulties acting in her video of "All the Stars" and gave us her rendition of the song. she then sang "Impossible Dream" it was already time for the intermission. It seemed to come too soon. I wondered if the second set would be as long as the first.

After the intermission, Jackie came on stage from the left, dressed in a black and white lace dress which was below the knees. the white was shaped to accent her waist and bodice. She entered the stage singing "Caruso". She introduced her song writing contributions with "Safe and Sound" and "Pedestal". She followed this with a soaring version of "Your Love".
Peter presented his interpretation of an updated version of the introduction to "The Marriage of Figaro" by that rebel Mozart and it was well received.
Jackie introduced the hymn "How Great Thou Art" that her grandmother requested that she sing it at her passing. When the time did come, Jackie was so overcome with emotion at her passing that she was unable to sing it at her funeral. She later decided to record it. Jackie gave us a powerful version of "HGTA" and received a tremendous standing ovation.
She dedicated "We've Only Just Begun" to her sister Juliet. Jackie's warmth in the beginning phrase always reminded me of Karen. I hope that she will cover more of Karen Carpenters songs in the future with a little more pace.
She then introduced and sang "Starry, Starry Skies". The favorite of many fans. She finished he concert with the music that most inspired her to sing with "MOTN". She received a well deserved SO. She responded to the thunderous applause with "Nessum Dorma" with the high note that many of the singers associated with David Foster is using to another standing ovation.
It seemed to be over too quickly. I still prefer the last "vincero" that Foster had inserted in 2011 without the high note. I now understand what many fans have said about hearing Jackie "live" verses on CD only. Interesting effect of the first exposure to Jackie "in concert" is that you immediately become addicted. I am looking forward to the next opportunity to see her "in concert" again.

p.s. I had the pleasure to sit next to Rick Varn who had attended Jackie"s concert at Lake Jackson on the third. He noted that Jackie did not have a video screen behind her as she did at Lake Jackson. I also noted that she did not change her shoes as she usually does and used the same pair in both changes of dresses.
The other action which I noted was the use of lights from the stage into the auditorium ceiling. the light effect that were used were similar to the colors of some of the night lights which are used and changed the ambiance in the auditorium rather than changing the lighting effects on the stage. I wonder if this is a new thing or just an experiment.
If there is one song I would like to hear in concert, it would be "Se". She used to perform this piece with such emotion.
