Mr. Ignorant Latecomer is wondering: Does anyone have 3 or 4 really good tickets to Jackie's Dec 3 concert for sale (not scalped), or is my best bet to grab "Best available [closest to stage]" from Ticketmaster or a call to the box office? Sorry...My brain got tangled up that first Wed and Fri. Now I've remembered this great Forum...Any tips?

Reminder: this starts at 6 PM, repeat 6 PM, _not_ the usual 8 PM or so. Glad I checked! Oh, the closest parking garage is expensive, unless you get street parking (check the signs). The easiest (probably not the cheapest) solution may be to use www.parkingpanda.com/modell-performing-arts-center-at-the-lyric-baltimore-parking/jackie-evancho-baltimore-1009197to reserve and prepay parking at the Oliver Street parking garage (2 minute walk, they say). That's what I did, so I don't have to try to look around, but can just punch up directions to the parking garage, and get settled in more efficiently. (I didn't know about any of this until now, but when I saw the earlier time, I figured I'd better get a handle on the parking situation well in advance.)

WHAT A WONDERFUL EVENING!! Jackie began with a truly moving rendition of "Lovers" and ended with this super-powerful encore, "Nessun Dorma!" :--) Everything in between, both her top hits and Christmas favorites, demonstrated that just when we thought Ms. Evancho's singing couldn't get any more awesome, ... IT DID! :--0 The accompanying orchestra arrangements couldn't have been better, the sound system provided booming high fidelity, and the visuals were better than ever, beginning with a delightful barrage of photos of Jackie from toddler age to now, often standing together with many world-famous celebrities, and not just musicians! Am still on Cloud Nine - as always after such an experience :--) As Always also, many audience members traveled hundreds of miles to see and hear Jackie once again :--)

At sometime in the last five or so years, she eliminated the chin quiver at the end of Lovers.
