People have been criticizing Team Evancho especially over at Amazon, but I think that they had an excellent idea to have this ready for 1/20/17. That is, assuming that it was TE's idea.

They always do that. It's like their raison d'être. TeamE could make a fantastic move, but they'd find the negative(s) about it.

I got mine yesterday and immediately played it on my DVD player with the (very old) extra speakers attached - and it nearly blew me out of the room! I think the volume's WAY too LOUD - I had to turn the extras off altogether and turn the volume on the TV down to about 1/4 to eliminate the godawful feedback/vibration. I tried it in the car this morning and it was better, but still loud. Other than THAT, it seems to be fine.

Is there any Billboard list that includes extended-play CDs? The Billboard 200. Remember Jackie was on it with O Holy Night her four song EP. Came in #2.

I just received my copy of TWS from Amazon. The fact that it was "manufactured on demand" didn't make it any easier to remove the shrink wrap. Is there any indication on it that it is not a standard CD?
It will be interesting to see if it makes Billboard's Top 200.

Look at the surface of the CD, if it's blue, it's a CD-R. Pressed CDs are silver. As long as it plays, though, makes no real difference.

It will be interesting to see if it makes Billboard's Top 200. Amazon is so big, they likely have permission to do their own CDs for some, just like they can print books on the spot. It probably lowers cost and improves turn-around time for specialty items.
