Didn't know where to put this, but I guess this is as good a place as any!!
I did a search looking for all the posts for the past 60 days and made a list of who made those posts in alphabetical order! My reason for this exercise was to create a post congratulating those on the list for still being a Jackie fan and still posting on this forum, whether you posted anything about Jackie or not!! You're still here, having endured the absence of any Jackie news for almost 2 years, patiently awaiting any driplet of news about her condition and whereabouts, or is she even alive!!! Now that she has surfaced and informed her base why she disappeared and that she will be performing again on Dec. 17, I think we all deserve a hearty round of applause for still being here!
Applause!! Applause!! Applause!!

And a special Thank You to rickolsen!
Please forgive me if I missed anyone!
Nice, although Jackie only disappeared from social media for one year, not two. Dec 2, 2020 was her last Instagram post before she vanished. Now it has been almost two years since she's done a concert however. Well it wasn't till after Jackie finished singing her third song on AGT that I became a "fan". I've been a fan of Jackie's ever since. I'd say it's about 10.5 years.

Then of course her final performance sealed the deal.

Maybe Jackie also gives information about her new album, that would interest me the most.

Maybe Jackie also gives information about her new album, that would interest me the most. Sorry, no; neither the questions nor answers really went there. Fred Mollin seems to have gone silent in the last couple of months pretty much everywhere, whether the label or his own site or his social media. As far as that goes, Lisa has also gone silent for a couple of months longer than that, as far as I can tell. I wouldn't read too much into either one. Things being how they are, people have had more than the usual of the unexpected to deal with. For those who didn't find it in time, the show repeats at 7PM EST; but below (for days, not months or years unless I forget to delete it) is just the interview segment. It's a bit over 18:16 (minutes:seconds). Form your own opinion; I'd just say that rather than expecting news new to those who have been paying attention, it's more hearing her describe what's discussed in her own words. Jackie WITF interview

Jackie WITF interviewI think that it is good for her psychologically that she was able to talk about these things. Also other things which have not come up recently like the reaction to her singing the National Anthem at the 2016 inauguration.

Jackie mentions her jazz voice a lot and answers a question with broadway, pop, jazz now. If I didn't get it wrong? My English is not good. Did you hear that too, then that could be a clue. I don't remember Jackie mentioning Jazz before.

She sang a cover on Instagram with her piano player accompanying her, I think early last year, that sounded kind of jazzy. I commented to her that she should consider trying more Jazzy/blues sounding stuff as her voice is really suited for it.

In the Prinzio this statement is just another building block in relation to their next album. Jackie has already sung several songs from the Great American Soingbook on Instagram, Jorn Swart is a jazz pianist, Jackie has included the wonderful "Misty" in her program, one of my favorite songs by Ella Fitzgerald that became known with Johnny Mathis. Sometime in 2019 I wrote on Facebook that Jackie should sing "Misty" but thought Jackie was still too young for that, I was wrong , but i was seldom happier with jackie. Unfortunately there is only the first minute and not the complete song so far.. Fred Mollin worked with Johnny Mathis. MPM's Sanborn McGraw is apparently a nephew of Margaret Whiting, one of the most famous singers from 1940-1960 mit wunderbaren Liedern wie "Guilty" "Moonlight in Vermont" or "Baby it`s cold outside". Mandy Barnett's last album is a cover of an album by Billie Holliday. All of these people are also members of Michael Feinstein's Great American Songbook Foundation. Actually, the direction of their next album should be much clearer now. I myself am not a fan of classical singers, if I want to hear good female singers then I listen to jazz, blues or rock singers. Jackie's voice is wonderfully suitable for jazz. Jumaane Smith, who recorded "La vie en Rose" with Jackie, in the same studio where Jackie now recorded her vocals, is one of the few artists that Jackie often replies to on Facebook.

Yes, I thought of the "La vie en Rose" song that Jackie sang a number of years back too. I would love to see her go further down the Jazz route. She Jazz voice is gorgeous. Down the road, I can actually picture her in high end jazz night clubs in one of her glittery gowns, singing Jazz as her piano player tickles the ivories on a baby grand. lol
