As someone commented, Autumn is nice for walks, too. IMO, much nicer. I'm not a summer person and am happy to see it winding down. When people ask why I don't like summer, I reply, "Trash cans smell worse; people smell worse".

I didn't have a seat belt car until I bought a 1970 Ford Gran Torino GT when it was new. Good one "Clint".. lol. lol. My favorite part of that movie is when the neighbor kid takes an interest in all the tools he has, he gives him some channel-locks, duct tape and WD-40 and tells him that's usually all he needs.

On Jackie's Facebook page - Amanda Stan from Romania dances to the music "To Believe" composed by Matt Evancho, sung by Jackie Evancho
Great choice of music !

officialjackieevancho: Im aware of myself. Im aware ive got a big nose from certain angles, im aware my skin isnt always clear, im aware my fashion isnt always on fleek and so on. So many people have come to me and tried to tear me down, tear my family down, ruin my confidence. The things i have to say to say to them dont exist because they mean not a thing to me. Does what they say have anything to do with my progress as an artist? Nope. So thanks, but no thanks haters! As a fan I have followed Jackie forever and IMHO
Jackie through the years
At 8 years old she was adorable At 9 years old she was cute At 10 years old she was charming At 11 years old she was attractive At 12 years old she was delightful At 13 years old she was pretty At 14 years old she was lovely At 15 years old she was beautiful And now she is 16 and Drop Dead Gorgeous

From my experience raising two girls, and watching my now 16 year old granddaughter grow and mature, it seems that they are especially susceptible to criticism from peers and adults. It is sad that someone as beautiful inside and out as Jackie lets this stuff get to her. My youngest daughter (now in her early 30s) still has self esteem and poor body image confidence even though she is beautiful and fit. One snarky comment from a jealous co-worker and she descends into a deep depression. Sad really, but no matter how much her mother or I tries, she more easily believes the nay sayers than us.

My sister is much younger than I am. It was my brotherly duty to tease her. By her teens, I realized she might actually think I really did use her picture to scare away mice. I stopped teasing and made sure she realized she was an attractive fit person. She still goes to great lengths to exercise and eat healthy but in a good way.

As the old saying goes, from the mouths of babes:
"Try to change my shape But baby I'm not clay Sorry not today Cause baby I'm not clay
Your silly words I won't live inside your world Cause your punches and your names All your jokes and stupid games They don't work No they don't hurt Watch them just go right through me Because they mean nothing to me
I'm not clay"
Grace Vanderwaal, 2016
I sent this to my 14 year old grand-daughter... and got a quick thanks.

But I would feel the same way if it were totally unknown kids I believe Lisa got heat from a couple years ago bout the no belts , have worked a trauma unit I can tell you people get flipped out of cars if not on with arms an legs not as they are meant to look like

Jackie and Peter doing "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)". That is so groovy. I hope the backing vocals are both Jackie's and Peter's voices together. I think that would be beautiful. Well, I'll be buying at least two Xmas CDs this year. Last year I bought Plácido Domingo's, for obvious reasons. Growing up, we had in our home Xmas albums by Burl Ives, Tennesee Ernie Ford, Sinatra Family (usually played once, then stuck in the back), and best of all, Nat King Cole.
