Incredible concert!!! For those of us who have followed Jackie for a long time, this was heaven. So many great songs from her past, as well as a look to her future, with a couple newer songs & a couple brand new songs never before heard. Without going to deep into it, I'll just say that the lack of string players on stage was a total non-factor. It didn't take anything away, and it in fact probably adds to what she is able to do.
Big thanks to agog for writing down the setlist as we went. Without his notes, there's no way I would've remembered all of this
1. Pure Imagination 2. Made to Dream 3. Memories 4. Music of the Night Instrumental: Marriage of Figaro 5. Fix You (from Coldplay) 6. Impossible Dream 7. What a Wonderful World 8. Nessun Dorma Intermission 9. Take Me There 10. Think About Me * 11. Over the Rainbow Instrumental: Mambo (West Side Story) 12. Unbelievably awesome medley, singing snippets of: O Mio Babbino Caro Time To Say Goodbye Think of Me Somewhere When you wish upon a star The Prayer 13. Writings on the Wall 14. Safe & Sound 15. Lovers 16. The Lord's Prayer Encore: 17. All I Ask of You
* There was some post-concert discussion about the title of the 10th song, which was brand new. I thought the 3rd word sounded like "me", while another fan thought it was "love". Playing back a video of Jackie introducing the song, the 3rd word is muffled, so it could be any single-syllable word in existence. But listening to the sound, it sounds like she is singing "think about me when you are gone". So I titled it "Think About Me", but that could be wrong.
Thanks for the set list. Interesting to say the least, and I would like to get hear your thoughts on Jackie's performance. Also, any comments Jackie made regarding the album release which now appears to be March according to the article from the Herald.

Arcada - Concert Review
All good things must come to an end and when you leave a venue wishing it would not have ended so soon, you know that you leave with memories of an experience you'll cherish and remember for many years to come if not for a lifetime.
The last time I saw Jackie was in 2014. She was 14 then.
If you've never seen Jackie in close intimate surroundings accompanied by just a piano, then you may have missed the opportunity. Jackie and Peter were the only two performers on stage all night. Peter did his magic and the orchestra that wasn't there wasn't a miss (for me at least). More on this later.
I had a front row seat and could literally touch the stage with an outstretched hand. At this particular venue I found some disadvantages to sitting in the front row. Had to look up at the stage and I had stage speakers on stage in front of me. However, the advantage was that I could clearly see Jackie and literally every expression and emotion that she displayed, something that enhanced the experience of listening and watching her sing.
The theatre hall was small but created a rather intimate atmosphere. I would say that almost any seat was a good seat at this venue.
Here is the song list :
1. Pure Imagination
2. Made to Dream
3. Memories
4. Music of the Night
5. New Song - Fix You (Cold Play)
6. Impossible Dream
7. Wonderful World
8. Nessun Dorma
Intermission
9. Take me There
10. Original Song - Think About It - (not written by Jackie)
11. Over the Rainbow
12. Revisiting the past - (sort of medley) - Jackie w/piano accompaniment ONLY
A. O Mio Babbino Caro
B. Time to Say Goodbye
C. Think of Me
D. Somewhere
E. When You Wish Upon a Star
F. The Prayer - Dedicated to David Foster
13. Writings on the Wall
14. Safe and Sound
15. Lovers
16. The Lord's Prayer
Encore - All I ask of You
Jackie wore two dresses during the concert. The black gown during the first half and a short white dress during second half (I'm sure the ladies are going to hate me for not being more descriptive).
Jackie's entrance onto the stage, as always, is simply ... Stunning ! Simple elegance, sophistication, class etc are probably superlatives that come to mind but somehow fail to meet the mark and one is often at a loss to explain the undefinable. Its easy to understand why people are drawn to her but hard to explain. Jackie seemed a little nervous for the first few minutes upon appearing on stage but settled down pretty quickly and her demeanor and banter during the second half was a delight to watch.
Memorable Moments -
Memories
Music of the Night (Standing Ovation). Beautifully done and very expressive.
New Song - Fix You (Cold Play) - She sings it better than the original.
Nessun Dorma - First time for me to see her sing this live. Sounded even better live.
Over the Rainbow - Impeccable rendition.
New Original Song - Think about it - This is a must listen for fans !
Jackie said her new album will be out in January 2017 and will be a Pop album but emphasized that she will remain true to her classical roots. She is experimenting.
Met up with some great fans and had a great time overall.
Unforgettable Moments -
1. Jackie did something that I had not seen her do in her 5 previous concerts that I attended. She stood by the piano with Peter and relived her past with 6 songs. This was with subdued piano accompaniment only (no other electronic instrumentation). She sang the songs slowly and her voice rang pure and clear. For some fans like myself, this is about as close to nirvana as we are going to get. If she ever did a complete concert in this fashion, I'd be the first one in line :-). Her rendition of O Mio Babbino Caro is probably one of the best renditions I've ever heard from anyone including Jackie. I think there was a collective sigh in the audience when she started the song. Soul searing and hair raising !
2. Maggie - We all got to see the real Maggie today as she trotted on stage towards the end of the concert.
Jackie's voice continues to be one of the most remarkable and beautiful voices I've ever heard and the passage of time only seems to add to its beauty and splendor. Of course my opinion is biased (I'm a fan after all), but my ears don't lie :-).
I left the concert with the same thought I had the last time I attended one in 2014....
And long will the mind recall
Wondrous the music of the night
And center stage, captivating all
The Voice singing to our heart's delight.

Anwaar Hassan Jackie is nuts about Maggie. Some folks offered to hold Maggie so Jackie could sing and Jackie told everyone that Maggie was her own personal dog that she won't let anyone get near her. Beautiful dog BTW.

Jackie took her shoes off for the encore. She was telling us during the 2nd half that the shoes were really hurting her. Several in the audience encouraged her to just take off the shoes. Jackie joked that if she did, we wouldn't be able to see her, because of her height. She was so at ease speaking to the audience, talking plenty between songs, and throughout the medley. I agree that I don't know how women can stand wearing heels. They shouldn't even bother with them. They are just as pretty if they're wearing sneakers or flip flops, even if they're wearing a formal dress.
As mentioned, Maggie joined Jackie as she came out for the encore. That was the first time I've seen Maggie in person. We can only assume that this was not planned, that Maggie just got loose from the side of the stage, wanting to say hello to all the fans of her mom.
A fan did take video of Jackie's introduction to "Think About Me(?)". I took some video during the song, just so I could remember how the song went, but I had the camera in my lap as I did. I'm terrible at taking concert videos. If I don't pay attention to the screen (which is very difficult for me to do when it's Jackie on stage), the camera quickly ends up far off of Jackie, usually at the ceiling. Those are what I listened to, when trying to figure out the 3rd word.

When I created the set list, I used "Think About Me" as the song title, which came from this interview: "Fans looking for a sneak peak into Jackie Evancho 2.0 can hear the pop-minded “Think About Me,” which she did not write, at her show Oct. 8 at the Ohio Theatre. The tune is described as being pop with an indie feel." www.news-herald.com/article/HR/20161006/FEATURES/161009590

Hearing audio from the video would be nice, I promise not to critique the video quality
Dine-o-might in golden outfit , WOWIIEESSSS , bout time she looks as a teen to shake the youths up , this is the Jackie M Evancho of today , yikes that darn hippie cat likes it too
Great performance of the song, the expression on Jackie's face was priceless when she almost lost her balance briefly toward the end of the clip. Thanks for sharing.

rickolsen: If my comments were disparaging I apologize. To me her classical crossover voice was much better than her pop voice and so were the songs. Beginning with her album The Debut when she switched to pop I haven't purchased anything she's put out.
