Didn’t get a set list. But aside from the usual Christmas songs and a Phantom medley, I recall Misty, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, Somewhere, Dream a Little Dream of Me. (edit: and River from CoT, as something people thought of as a Christmas related song).
Oh, and At Least I Have Santa and Consequences (songs she wrote).
1st encore: OMBC/ND medley. 2nd encore: OHN (with snow machine). Orr Auditorium is unadorned modern construction, not like some of the older venues with gilded decorations and chandeliers. But they had some impressive lighting effects people and equipment, with controls to the left of the sound man’s position. And a fog machine, which while a visual enhancement, had Jackie going to her water bottle a bit more often (they don’t use just water, wouldn’t stay visible and suspended long enough; whatever they use may be harmless in general but a bit drying).
Jackie was IMO vocally in at least typically good form, seemed happy and animated, and while not fully acting out Kitty for DAAGBF, still used some of the moves. Multiple references to Christmas as a family event, including suggesting that a Christmas show felt a bit like a family event to her (remember, including cousins family events for her might have 20+ people, way more than many people can relate to but a friendly crowd she grew up with). The mic stand got little use, mainly for parts of songs she may have wanted to concentrate on, otherwise she walked the stage and looked at the audience if she wasn’t at least slightly acting out a song.
Applause was strong for all the songs, both the familiar and the two self-written ones.
First place I thought to park (near a service entrance, would have been closer than where I ended up but the hill would have been hard on my sore leg), I talked briefly to a young (early 20’s) couple there for the show that parked next to me. Didn’t think to ask if they were students, the younger might have been but the guy looked maybe a couple years older than that. Clearly there ‘cause they wanted to be. Very few people that young, although parents with young kids were seen, if not many. Girls the age Jackie was when she started +/- a couple years still seem to see her as someone that showed them what someone young can do. Sat next to a woman that was no older than 45 - 50 that had wanted to see Jackie when she was at that location in 2018, but it had been sold out by the time she tried to get tickets. Showed her some pictures, mentioned Kitty on Masked Singer and that otherwise 2020 had been a rough year for Jackie (in response to her asking how many shows a year Jackie did, once 20ish, since COVID a lot less so far). She intended to look up some of what I’d mentioned on YouTube.
Energizing performance (at least for me, they all are) and interesting people in the audience. Talked to the sound man briefly at intermission, too; suggested that he must enjoy his work, which he enthusiastically (not just politely) agreed with.
edit: venue policy not even non-flash still photos, so I didn’t. Probably some did, so they might turn up in a few days.
1st half, pleated white dress, neither tame nor daring. 2nd half, dress of possibly silvery gray color. Given a holiday performance, both perhaps more conservative than for other sorts of occasions.
