Gillian November 23, 2018 "During her encore, Jackie got comfortable and removed her high heels before performing a memorable version of the all-time classic Christmas tune, “White Christmas.”

Jackie appears to be down to two concerts a year....sad. I wouldn't necessarily assume that to be a trend. She may have other priorities at present, pursuing interests that don't lend themselves to a concert tour this spring. And, there may still be concerns about her health. It appears to me she is busy concentrating on songwriting and recording. She has been taking classes in songwriting and production in Nashville. She said in interview with Lyndsey Parker last Sept. that she wants to "release an album of all original material and compose it, produce it all by myself"...."the stuff that I'm writing is all the things that are dark and deep in me that I've never spoken about put to music." I imagine it's quite a challenge that takes considerable introspection, concentration and time. Melody Place record label, announced a few days ago, "Melody Place is fast at work on a new project of original music from multi-platinum selling Jackie Evancho. The music, produced by Greg Camp, is a new sound for the classically known singer. The songs are autobiographical about her dealings with mental illness." We might see a new release this spring or summer, as she had anticipated.

Even during the time when she gave concerts. It is obvious that there is no more interest in "Jackie sings Joni" concerts. If Jackie was offered concerts, like the concert in Ocean City, she would do these concerts. Or do you really think that Jackie would turn down offers for concerts? Concerts are their only source of income.

She is the featured, headline singer and she sings the typical full program of Jakie songs in Ocean City...this is basically a Jackie concert backed by a small orchestra. And while its the only concert currently scheduled for 2023, you can be pretty confident she will do an Xmas concert in December as she normally does. She's basically down to two concerts a year at this point.

Concerts are their only source of income. Yes, she's been working on original songs about her "dealing with mental illness" at least since 2021. But only now is she actually engaged in production of an album. Jackie said in an interview or on social media (I don't recall the source) that she will have to "take classes" in order to learn how to produce her own album. Now that the album is presently in production with Melody Place "fast at work on the new project", and she is working with an arranger, we can reasonably surmise that she had actually taken classes, or has been receiving an education from someone in songwriting and music production. With regard to why no concerts have been scheduled prior to Ocean City, it can only be conjecture. I don't draw conclusions from conjecture. I will suggest, however, that as a multi-millionaire, she can afford to not give concerts at present for whatever reason.

Pure speculation on your part, you and anyone else has no knowledge of Jackie’s current financial situation. The divorce settlement resulted in having to sell the mansion and as you insinuate that Jackie’s a multi-millionaire proves Jackie wasn’t financially able to pay off Lisa and keep the house.

I think they would have sold the house even if they could afford to pay it off. The kids are grown up and have moved out or will be moving out, Lisa is gone....the house was just way too big for their needs now.

The album is produced by Greg Camp (according to Melody Place), maybe Jackie is a co-producer or something. How much time Jackie invests in her album is unknown. The fact is that no concerts except this one are known so far. Jackie is definitely not a multillionaire. That should be common knowledge by now. According to Jackie's statement, performing and singing for her fans is what she likes to do the most. So why doesn't she do it?

No msims...she was talking about needing to take classes to help produce a future album of her greatest hits...with new arrangements...had nothing to do with the album of originals. I think she very likely hasn't taken any "classes". lol
