So about 2 weeks ago I was driving on I-70 westbound west of St Louis in the wee hours of the morning and the temperature kept creeping closer to 0 degrees. I was warm enough in my cab, although I like keeping it cool to help keep me alert. There were a few vehicles going east but nobody anywhere in sight of me in front or back. My phone was hooked up to my cab's stereo which has some decent speakers. I let YouTube pick some random songs based on my viewing history. The following clip by The Piano Guys came on and I had the volume up to overcome the purr of the diesel engine. I think I had heard the clip before, but that didn't matter. I got some serious goosebumps, lol! I'm sure the cold helped, but the music still has to be good enough or I won't get them even when cold.

Sorry for the double posts, but my tablet is being a PITA. Or it is just me, lol. The following video talks about why we get goosebumps and interestingly, Barber's Adagio for Strings is popular for inducing them. Btw, this thread is for non Jackie music since just about every one of her songs causes goosebumps in someone.
Tell me what music gives you goosebumps and why and where. Don't put up Beethoven's whole 5th symphony, lol. Just short clips.

To show how subjective our response to music is, here is a video where the poster thinks everyone should get goosebumps to the performance he posted. I didn't, especially after hearing the out of tune piano at the beginning. Maybe that is why so many young people don't fully appreciate Jackie. They're all tone deaf, lol! Just kidding. Btw, that orchestra in the first clip is made up of 13-18 year olds. Same age as Jackie!
Lol, the video was taken down since I made this post. The performer is Tokio Myers. Never heard of him. Must be some talent show. The piano was definitely out of tune.
Oh well. Here is one that never fails to give me goosebumps if I haven't listened to it in awhile. Be patient with it as it builds up to a glorious ending. If you are atheist/agnostic, you may not like it. If you aren't, and you haven't heard this before you are in for a treat, imo.

Glad to have you back, glt.
Tokio Myers is last year's British Got Talent winner. Since you said you did not know him, a quick look on You Tube will introduce you to him. He plays the piano like Lindsey Stirling plays the violin. Think of a one man band, just bigger. Some would call him an entertainer with dredlocks.
While you are there, the 2nd place went to, of course, a very young girl magician, Issy Simpson. Very cute and owns the stage. Probably should have won, but Simon was there and probably had Jackie's vote counter.
Both of their auditions are quite good, definitely worth your time.

What I saw was a third party post with stills. I thought it was BGT, but I don't have time nor the interest to follow all these shows. He's obviously very talented, but that kind of music does not give me goosebumps. I like listening to Carpenters, Bread, John Denver, Neil Diamond, etc. But none of them give me goosebumps. Please tell me you can hear that his piano is out of tune? Not real bad, but enough slightly sour notes to eliminate any chance of me getting goosebumps, lol.

Ok, those people I mentioned betrayed my age. From this century, lol, I like listening to Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Secret Garden, Hayley Westenra, etc. But again, I rarely got goosebumps from even them. My tablet is acting weird, so may have to stop for now.

I couldn't afford to have a good ear. Church musician for 42 years. A dozen pianos in hot, cold, damp, etc rooms changing pitch by the hour. BTW I was Baptist and could have shown those Mormons some good music. lol
Thanks for posting the video. If you go to YT from the video you can see his other acts and Issy's.
It is just like AGT, but they talk funny. Ha

Last post for tonight. Got to get up early to pickup a load. I don't remember if the following song gave me goosebumps, but I really, really liked it and it was instrumental (pun intended) in my wife and I getting married. We also had it sung at our wedding. And...my wife also composed and sang a song to me at the altar. She had a beautiful Alto voice and still wants to compose songs.
While I don't remember if I ever got goosebumps (and yes, I know, his guitar is slightly out of tune, lol, still love it) I did once have an odd reaction to it. My wife and I were in Joanne's while she was shopping for some craft items. This song (original version) came over the PA system. I was looking at some outdoor glass lanterns, so I grabbed one and started walking towards my wife like I was the bridegroom coming to catch away his bride in the middle of the night. Suddenly my knees buckled, I crumpled to the floor and my lower jaw was shaking like I was shivering. It wasn't unpleasant and it wasn't a seizure. Someone came over to me and asked if I was alright, lol. It only lasted a few seconds and I told the person I was fine.
Btw, there are many songs that I like that don't give me goosebumps. Jackie's Danny Boy is so addicting to my brain, that I have to ration my listens to 1 or 2 a week or it will take over my brain, lol. And yet, I don't remember if it has ever given me goosebumps. Tears, yes. Sighs, most definitely.

Music hasn't given me "goosebumps", but I've been affected so profoundly that I'm choked up, at times actually tearful. That has often been my experience when listening to Jackie, particularly in those astonishing early years. I've felt that compulsive emotion at other times as well, such as when I saw this video of a Lara Fabian concert where she was moved by the loyalty and love expressed by her audience. At first it seemed rude but was revealed to be a spontaneous dedication.
Tu vois je t'aime comme ca (You see, I love you like that)

Goosebumps? This video rocks agog's world.
The airplane is the Cri Cri (cricket) a French experimental (homebuilt) design. The Cri Cri is considered the smallest man carrying airplane currently available. There are about thirty Cri Cri's airworthy in the world. This Cri Cri is powered by two micro jets.
And yes, it's about the music which begins at takeoff. Incidentally, wouldn't this be a great song for Jackie?
So taxi into position and hold for a goosebump inducing ride beginning at about two minutes twenty-five seconds.
