It makes me laugh to think that DFos is expensive. What Jackie receives from being associated with David is significantly greater than what she gets from Sony who charge an arm and leg. I would think that $ for $ she is getting huge recognition worldwide in comparison to what Sony is doing for her. I only hope at 18 when all existing contracts become void, as she alone must sign all new contracts at that time, that she dumps Sony. She would be better off having DFos produce and record her for the next couple of years, at least until she completes her education, then considers going INDY.

I think she just re-upped with Sony this year. I'm sure she agreed with the decision. She evidently doesn't have full artistic control over the artwork on her albums, though - maybe just the music. DFos is still a big plus, however.

I think she just re-upped with Sony this year. Jackie resigned with Sony after the Inauguration. They said several labels were bidding for her. Considering how Lisa has consistently bitched about Sony for 61/2 years, blaming Sony for all of her own managerial mistakes, it didn't make sense to me that they resigned with Sony.

I mentioned the cover art because it seems that Sony vetoed the original choice for the 2H cover, with the "two Jackies" pic. At the time of the signing, it didn't make a whole lot more sense to me than it did to Rick (given Lisa's comments), but it is what it is.

Record contract suck, but you're damed if you do and damed if you don't. Artist make their money from the second or third contract, the first one just gets you're foot in the door. If you have staying power, the lable then has to give you a bigger bite of the pie, or they can go and get this years newby and offer them 10% after all bills have been paid, while they get their full 90% from day one.
Jackie can do concert and pay for albums, which she proved, so the lable have lost bargaining power. The new contract with Sony will look nothing like the last.

Hello, I have updated the Concert database at bestofjackieontheweb.com/ with the latest images and setlists, by combining information from here, classicalcrossover.proboards and Facebook, but I can not find the setlist from Napa on September 9 2017. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thank you.

This is what I have: 2017/09/09 - 36th Concert of New 2016-2017 (Two Hearts) Tour I'm confused, didn't the Two Hearts Tour began in April after the release of the new Album? Prior to that it was the Awakening Tour with a few new singles/covers thrown in here and there.

Prior to that it was the Awakening Tour with a few new singles/covers thrown in here and there. Two Hearts was released on March 31, 2017, but she was not calling her concerts Two Hearts. She used New 2016/2017 tour in almost all of her concerts starting with 2016/10/06 St. Charles, IL, Arcada Theatre. I recall a few concerts that actually named Two Hearts on the marquee, but I was under the impression that the majority of her concerts to date have not been attributed to Two Hearts as a tour. From what I could find in the Concerts thread for dates after May, 2017, the flyers have almost all been "An Evening With Jackie Evancho".
