I used to play but I was never very good. My Canadian college roommate regularly beat the snot out of me and he was just an average player. He took me to his chess club several times and they beat the snot out of him. So I quit playing about 50 years ago, never to return to the board.

If I were as honest my post would be similar to yours.

My best sports were billiards, bowling and table tennis. I used to hustle in pool halls, had a 185 average on the bowling lanes(my best game was somewhere around 270) and was a 1700 point player in table tennis(2200 is pro).
I had very good eyesight with contact lenses and was very quick-footed laterally(you had to be in ping pong)so I was a good athlete in certain areas. I was a very good dancer too, although not DWTS caliber, but I did take ballroom dancing lessons in college.
Now I'm just an old man sitting on a park bench with his old dog.

Agog if you play chess you might be interested in this game which Bobby Fisher won on his way to going undefeated in the 1963 American Chess Championships which no one else has ever done;
