caitlinwolford3@officialjackieevancho Saw your show tonight in Modesto! I too fell in love with phantom of the opera at a young age and it made me want to be a singer and perform and Iโve been working at it ever since! I really enjoyed your show, you have a beautiful voice! Iโm an even bigger fan than I was before! Thank you for a wonderful night!!!! I hope you come back around this area sometime so I can see you again!!! โค๏ธโค๏ธ
richkmw One of the best shows I have ever seen at the center.
Facebook
Tom Bakerโ to Jackie Evancho 3 hrs. Hard to believe it has been almost 8 years since the world discovered Jackie and realized that MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. The most beautiful singing voice I've ever heard at the age of 10 now has become more mature, even more powerful but best of all has retained that clarity and pure tonal quality that can only be described as unique.

www.facebook.com/groups/160024457441608/permalink/1552593341518039/From Len's Post on FB: Last night, at the Gallo Center for the Arts, Modesto, CA, Jackie, once again, provided her audience w/ a breathtakingly beautiful performance. The beautiful venue, which seats ~ 1200, was nicely populated for Jackie's first full concert of 2018, and her first as a young adult of 18. Jackie made brief mention of her recent b'day, for which she received an extended round of applause. As we have come to know, and expect, Jackie's audiences don't just appreciate her for her beautiful voice, but always exhibit an outpouring of โคfelt love for her, as a person. A few noteworthy comments and observations: - The orchestral accompaniment was composed of musical director, Peter Kiesewalter, at the piano, along w/ 4 violins, 2 violas and 2 cellos. - Jackie announced that she is currently working on a new album, which drew a huge round of applause. No expected release date was given. - Dresses: > 1st set - Basic black, full length gown w/ red floral pattern. > 2nd set - Dazzling gold, full length gown, which spurred plenty of "ooh's" and "awe's" from throughout the theatre. - At the opening of the 2nd set, Jackie aborted her stage entrance to momentarily return to the wing. She sweetly explained that she had 4gotten to share an exchange of "good luck" kisses on the cheek w/ her Dad. More "awe's" from throughout the audience, of course. - While exiting the theatre, it was brought to my attention that an official venue poster, autographed by Jackie, had been made available for bidding, as a venue fund raiser. Ironically, there had been no bids placed (lack of publicizing it?), and that it could be mine for the minimum asking bid. I couldn't believe that this good fortune had come my way. In good faith, I doubled the minimum bid, and this addition to my Jackie treasures was mine; and the venue was very happy to receive the funds. (It was actually suggested that it might have just been thrown away! Heaven forbid! ๐ฑ) 1st Set Song List: - Lovers - The Way We Were - Think of Me - Medly > O Mio Babino Caro > Con Te Partiro > Somewhere > When You Wish Upon a Star > The Prayer - Somewhere Over the Rainbow - May It Be - All of the Stars - The Impossible Dream 2nd Set Song List: - Set Me Free - Safe and Sound - Pedestal - Your Love - Peter Kiesewalter Orchestral Interlude > Overture from "The Marriage of Figero" - How Great Thou Art - We've Only Just Begun - Starry Starry Night - Music of the Night Encore: - Nessun Dorma In summary, Jackie worked her usual magic and totally captivated her audience, once again! Shouts of "We love you!" and "Happy birthday, Jackie!" filled the air, as Jackie made her final exit from the stage, and you could just sense the feeling of audience appreciation, and soulful contentment, throughout. There would undoubtedly be much talk of, and reflection on, what had just been experienced, over the following days and weeks to come! ๐

Also her father was along although he isn't legally needed anymore.

Not only was Jackie's father with Jackie, even if "he isn't legally needed anymore", IT WAS MADE CLEAR THAT the mentioned legal point is not something that matters to Jackie, as shown by Jackie when she "aborted her stage entrance to momentarily return to the wing" to exchange good luck kisses on the cheek with her DAD. Nor was she at all embarrassed to reveal this loving ritual to her public.

Not legally, but lovingly needed and appreciated, I'm sure. Technically yes, he is Jackie's tour manager on the road and also doubles as her Chief steamer of her outfits. ๐ It can be difficult to rent a car as an 18-year old. Policies differ as to whether an 18-year old can rent a hotel room.
