Agree with you 100% on that. I believe Eric Hamel's comment posted on the QVC vol. 1 video, expresses my feelings on this even better than I could have for myself. Eric Hamel 5 years ago This is the best version of Angel I've heard her sing, mainly because I can hear Jackie's clear, controled & beautiful voice in the forefront with the music way in the background playing softly. For once she is not in competion with the music, freeing her to sing toward beauty & emotion, rather than for volume. I'd love to hear more done this way. A little music, not a lot. Another great video of an outstanding rendition of Angel by Jackie. Can't leave this well known one out.

I remember her stating after that her hands were still shaking because she was so nervous playing the piano live for the first time (or something to that effect). Thanks for the link.

Edit: I'm just sad that Lawrence never figured out how to do that internet search thingy. Ha Ha Just giving you a chance to shine, Mr. Bigshot Fancypants. Thank you for your kind words. In respect to our hater of 'towel snapping' - Julia, this will end here. No more bantering. She has asked for more conversation of Jackie's career. It seems this has happened. Thank you Julia for your guiding hand of sensibility. This is a better place with you here. Please continue to show us the way. I have made a cartoon character for Julia, similar to Dudley-Do-Right for agog. I will not post without her permission. Hey Rob, it's the yellow dude over to the right. Also, it is pronounced 'thingy.' I'm pretty sure this is what Admin is talking about when he scolds a member for going off topic on a thread.

Come on jb, this is a no 'towel snap' zone.
She could possibly say the same thing about you.
My tongue is, as usual, well placed in my cheek.

I have made a cartoon character for Julia, similar to Dudley-Do-Right for agog. That cartoon is too real life for my taste. Yeah, I rescue the girl and the horse gets the kiss. Also, it is pronounced 'thingy.' True Wayne, it may be PRONOUNCED 'thingy' but it's SPELLED thingy. That could explain the problem.

Out here in the West we do our "towel-snappin" thingy on Saturday nights, like real men. Meet you then on the "whiney" thread. Uh Oh, that sounded too familiar. Never mind.

I've already got two good 'uns in my saddle bags ready to go. Should we invite others? I could introduce my new superhero heroine. Hey agog the thingy thing was directed at Rod not knowing how to lol without typing lol. That is a lol. Hey jb, I thought Et Tu was one word. I like to combine several replies in one reply. Makes trying to follow more funnier.
