https://www.instagram.com/p/BUiofiTDQmj Did I say Jackie was an "equestrian"?, maybe a horseman?, or a trainer? Pick one. Jackie just entered my world with this. You got it girl. Thank you yellowstone.

My speculation is whatever Jackie's full role in "Troy" is, it has been planned for a while. Recall the producer's statement "She Sang the theme song for Troy" though she had just arrived (highlighted text in link below.) And in the video clip (end of the link) I think it is Jackie singing (sustained note at the end, followed by tremolo). That clip is dated October 2016. I think is was Yellowstone that said the company producing Troy was founded in early 2016. Jackie's last Instagram today is of her handling horses. That role (no doubt riding too) would need her to get trained with horse handling/riding prior to the trip. And the Dec. 2016 Instagram picture of her on a horse is the only picture ever posted of her on a horse (There were earlier pictures, but Rachel was doing the riding.) I think Jackie has not mentioned riding a horse before (though she was promised a pony after AGT). Given Jackie's lengthy involvement and apparent horse riding role, I suspect she will be doing more than just the press conference - maybe a part in "Troy", that is scheduled to play for years?
I think one attraction of Jackie for producers is that she can "produce". Singing at the inauguration after sitting in the cold for 2 hours with no warmup is an example. Especially for a role in such an extended show when "The show must go on". May be easier to sing on a horse (standing) than suspended way up in the air on cables (One Drop)! Jackie may like this "Circus" life. Likely not the intense performance schedule Broadway would demand. Maybe fewer US concerts as a result Speculate away, Rick's Forum (that's what I call you all). jackieevanchofans.proboards.com/post/16127/threadDon

Dang! This thread is up to seven pages and I'm just reading for the first time, I'll read them all this weekend.
What I want from this Jackie adventure is a video of the show with Jackie's tracks. Hope I'm not waiting long.

This is a bigger deal than I originally thought. Based on what I can hear, and what I have commented on before, this is the kind of music she is meant to sing, Epic. I only just now read through this thread. Great information and a great job tracking down information by Yellowstone. Best post, by bgstar: "...this is the kind of music she is meant to sing, Epic." Couldn't agree more bgstar.

First article from the press conference - the link has already the Englisch translation. In the article ist written ... ... The finale of the event is made by the famous classical transcendental singer Jackie Evancho from the United States to sing the epic horse show "Troy" theme song "Set Me Free", she is not only the same as the image of the Ambassador of Troy, also the United Nations "humanity - charity Social "image ambassador, who has been singing for the two US presidents, she used a voice like a sounds of nature for the conference, painted a perfect full stop ... translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http%3A%2F%2Fent.qq.com%2Fa%2F20170526%2F000676.htm&prev=searchThis is the original link in Chinese, but here you can see pictures, which are not shown in the translation link: ent.qq.com/a/20170526/000676.htm#p=4Is that another first for Jackie? I don't think I've ever heard that said about anyone before.

This is not an English translation (or Englisch) which is a word, but Panglish, a dialect inflicted version of English. This may have been a translation from a word most like "Angelic" in the publishers language. My guess only, sorry not taking any bets.

We now know why Jackie returned to online school. The Jelly factor on this gig would have been through the roof at public school.

I suspect that it indeed means "classical crossover" although the translation as "classical transcendental" certainly has a nice sound to it.

"Jelly" = Jealous Her classmates would be jealous she went to China and got to play with horses.
"Transcendental" = Other worldly. In the 60's when you take LSD you would have a transcendental experience. Or she sings like she is from another planet. (Howie Mandel)
Of course I could be wrong. I reference 'Pitch Perfect 2'. The German group told the Barden Belles they were Jelly because they sung better than them.
I heard transcendental usually from some stoned out hippie freak. We probably have some of them around here. Ha

No, a little too young here. Missed the fun hippie stuff. Just missed the draft, too. So, I'm ok with that. Gott sei Dank.

When challenged by social norms always turn to a reliable up-to-date reference....either "The Simpsons", "Family Guy" or "South Park" will suffice.
