www.facebook.com/groups/136196403169941/permalink/1230176200438617/By Sean Daily Random Midland concert thoughts... Jackie closed out her recent tour with her many amazing attributes on full display - poise, charm, grace, style, fashion, spirit, wit, intellect, wisdom, beauty, eyes of sparkle, smile of dazzle, funny, fun-loving, gratitude, humility, caring - with a voice like no other - and a performance to match - what a great show – by a most amazing artist – by THE most amazing artist.! there's a reason why Jackie always includes this song in her concerts since its release, and has often sung it for morning TV shows, and why it continues to be a weekly top YouTube view many months after its release - lots of Jackie screen time helps to makes it a very popular video.. and it's because it so beautifully showcases Jackie's lovely voice and Jackie performs it with such meaning and passion.. but it doesn't seem to get the talk and acclaim it deserves - and yet history may show it to be one of her most popular.. grown women and men are brought to tears by her performance of this song in concert, where we are treated to extra video footage not included in the official video.. an under-rated treasure is Jackie's Safe and Sound.. for Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Starry Starry Night - Jackie held the audience, the theatre, all of Midland it seemed, in the palm of her hands - just Jackie and piano - not another sound - not a rustle - not a movement - suspending time and space - the very air held its breath.. when introducing All Of The Stars, again Jackie referred to it as being on her Two Hearts CD.. it seems clear that this was Jackie's intention - so consider taking her cue and download All of The Stars from iTunes (if you haven't already done so) and add it to your iTunes version of Two Hearts.. it would seem that Jackie would approve.. a final perspective as another Jackie tour comes to a close - the Earth is 4.6 billion years old, and we somehow managed to exist at the same time as Jackie Evancho – a most fortunate generation we are..

Jackie put on a great concert in Midland. She was in excellent voice and I had a lump in my throat throughout the whole concert. She didn't need to be half naked or have dancers to hold the audience's interest. Just sing, Jackie, and the world will stop to listen.

I would guess Midland was about 2/3 full. I counted 792 and I'm sure more tickets sold after that. Midland has a population of about 42,000 so I think that's pretty good. It isn't near any big cities.
