I like this quote from their page matrixmidland festival 2017"The career that began with a little girl’s fascination with The Phantom of the Opera has evolved into an enduring vocal phenomenon."

I am going to this concert. Tickets go on sale April 19 and I will get my ticket then. I'm already nervous because I can't find good directions to the venue. I'll just leave early. I'll find it. Wish me luck. This will be my fourth concert. I'm already excited. I love Jackie. I will write a report.

Thank you, ursus. I'm sure I'll find it. I just worry about these things. It says it will take 1 hour and 37 minutes so I'll leave an hour early.

Having the digital ticket gives me more security, as I know I can reprint it from the hotel if I forget it. I always like to leave the hotel extra early as well. No harm in getting there a bit early and walk around the area. If there were ever an Oklahoma City concert, where I wouldn't need a hotel, I would probably leave home 5-6 hours early to make the 2-hour drive.

I had to do that once in, of all places, Las Vegas, where they charge for everything that hotels in other places do for free, like the coffee packets in the rooms.

I really hope Jackie sings Vincent in Midland. She's singing it at the Carlyle so maybe I'll be lucky. I love that song.

I just bought my Midland ticket. Seat in row 2 and Jackie right in front of me. Dead center. Just where I wanted to be. Yay for me! It looks like they sold about 90 tickets yesterday during presale most in the $65 dollar section. My ticket cost $79 plus $3 fee for a total of $82.

Due to the fact that a lot of Jackie's concerts are during the first few months of the year I've decided to book my flights to see her concerts a day early just in case of lay overs due to weather. I feel the cost of an extra night in the hotel is good insurance not to miss a show.

I count 394 tickets sold give or take a seat or two. That's a good start. Jackie always does well in Michigan. We love her here. At Kalamazoo half the tickets were sold the last two weeks.
