Jackie's Someday at Christmas is #1 on Amzn movers & shakers this AM (2016 Sep 2), going from unlisted to #292 on their bestsellers list. Not bad considering. www.amazon.com/gp/movers-and-shakers/music/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsmsI think they update the M&S list every 24 hours(??). The bestsellers list itself is updated more often(??).

I can hardly wait for the track list! With the playing time being 40 minutes, that suggests at least twelve tracks, or else there are a couple which are longer than customary.

Any possibilities of bonus tracks or special editions?

Any possibilities of bonus tracks or special editions? Hard to say at this point -- if Sony/Portrait makes a special arrangement with one of the big US retailers such as Target, B&N or Walmart, maybe there would be a "deluxe" edition available here in the US. If they choose to do so they can also include a special bonus track on the album intended for the Japanese market -- that happens fairly frequently, it's something to do with the contractual arrangements there. Let's hope we get more information about this new album pretty soon!

OK, I was full of it, LOL. Jackie is now (1320 EDT 2016 Sep 2) #2 on M&S, #321 on the bestsellers list. So they update M&S at least every few hours, maybe every hour like I THINK they do with bestsellers... Perhaps someone knows the Amzn rules better than I do...

Hey, Pgantioch! Like your new avatar photo! As for the way Amzn works, beats me! It is exciting that Jackie is on the Movers and Shakers list right now! Wow! Presumably the M&S list is stimulated by preorders? I hadn't thought about that until just now....

Hmmm... I hope it's all Jackie and not a compilation of multiple artists.

Hmmm... I hope it's all Jackie and not a compilation of multiple artists. No, I am pretty sure that is not the case. It'll be all Jackie -- but as we've seen mentioned, it is likely that all of the tracks will not be brand-new ones, that there will be some that have been previously recorded and released, with just two tracks being totally new for this album. If it had been a compilation of multiple artists it would have not have specifically said "Jackie Evancho," it would have indicated that various artists' tracks were featured. Also the people who were at the taping said that it was announced as Jackie's new album available now...[which it will be in December, when the show is broadcast.]

Two tracks? Which one besides the Stevie Wonder cover? And do we know for sure that the previous bonus tracks will be on it, or was that just an educated guess?

I don't recall the source now but I did hear that it would be just two new tracks with the rest being previously recorded/released material..... As for whether or not the bonus tracks that were released as part of the Walmart edition of "Awakening" will be among those included, your guess is as good as mine! I'm betting that they will be, though......
