I have noticed that Jackie has put her brand on Someday At Christmas The octave jump close to the end is her personal touch. She definitely OWNS it now. The Chicago SDAC, Florida and the Harry show.
She should thank Stevie Wonder, who wrote it and performed it. A talent who will never be surpassed. Stevie Wonder 1st released it on his album of the same name, but Wiki says it was written by Ron Miller & Bryan Wells, Stevie's long-time producers & collaborators (after he left Motown, where he felt too restricted). They worked well together, & he performed a number of their songs. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Someday_at_Christmas

A user comment to this performance one week ago on Youtube. tosius2 wrote:One reason Ms Evancho is so popular among the 50+ group is because she is such a class act. It seems as if we've been waiting a lifetime for her. She is gracious, humble, well spoken, engaging, kind, generous and brings joy to all she meets. Beyond her Angelic voice and breathtaking beauty, she is genuine, the real deal. It's almost surreal that the most graceful and elegant woman in the country is a sixteen year old young lady. This appearance is typical Jacqueline Marie Evancho; elegantly attired and delivering another flawless performance. I am in awe.

Does anyone know if the bàd chipmunk version of "Hallelujah" with Peter H is now purged from inventory at Amazon or elsewhere? I want to buy more but I don't want to return them for a good version. In other words has anyone bought one that is OK and doesn't have to be returned? I wouldn't put it past Sony or others to try to unload all their defective inventory and hope people don't notice. Thanks.

Thanks. I ordered 3 CD's mid November from Amazon US and they had already the new version. So, I'm quite sure, only the corrected version exists anymore.

All I know is that I bought the last copy of the 'bad' version at Barnes & Noble, right before Christmas. Maybe it will become a collector's item one day.
