Alright. All the Carmel-only concert-goers now know. Links were posted earlier, which you all may have already clicked on, but here it is anyway. 1. The Impossible Dream 2. The Way We Were 3. Medley: OMBC, Con Te Partiro, Think of Me, Wish Upon a Star, The Prayer Instrumental: Marriage of Figaro 4. Somewhere over the Rainbow 5. May it Be 6. All of the Stars 7. Music of the Night Intermission 8. Caruso 9. Safe and Sound 10. Pedestal Instrumental: Carmen 11. How Great Thou Art!!!!!!!!! 12. We've only just Begun 13. Vincent (Starry Starry Night) 14. My Heart Will Go On 15. Lovers 16. (Encore) Nessun Dorma I think I've made this comment before, but I don't really much like the medley (I've heard it twice in person, at Tyler in January and now at Carmel); by shortening the individual pieces it removes some of the best parts, such as the high note at the end of Think of Me and the march at the end of CTP. I agree. The Prayer comes out of it in the best shape. But the two you mentioned are truncated in a manner that would be like leaving off the "vinceros" from ND.

I thought of doing a full review, but those don't come so naturally to me as they do to Anastasia. She did an amazing job here: www.anastasialee.com/article-archive/jackie-evancho-waukegan-concert-reviewOne thing that I would add about "How Great Thou Art". Jackie said that her great grandmother loved the song and was hoping that Jackie would sing it at her funeral. But when her great grandmother passed away, Jackie was too sad to be able to sing it, so she wanted to sing it now to honor her great grandmother. Jackie apologized for being a downer, but it was no downer. It was a sweet story that served to add to the connection & impact of this amazing song! I was definitely one of those that enjoyed "May It Be". I do love the Lord of the Rings, and I love Celtic Woman's cover of this song. Now, my favorite band & favorite singer have both recorded it. Also, I just about jumped out of my seat when I realized that she was about to sing "My Heart Will Go On". This was always a song that stood out in my first several Jackie concerts. I love the sound of her voice with this song, like it was written specifically for her voice. I have definitely missed this song in concert since she last sung it on her SFTSS tour. My last SFTSS concert was in Carmel, almost 3 years ago. Oddly enough, she would be singing it in Carmel once again the following night. It was odd that Jackie didn't change dresses during intermission, as she usually does. However, for Carmel, she did change dresses. We can only wonder why she didn't change dresses for Waukegan.
