And from his previous Dr. Baseball posts, he's shaved off that silly growth on his face and looks respectable again! Perhaps it's just another evidence of the Jackie Effect! Oh, you mean Joseph Stumpf! I was going to say that it looks like Mike still needs a shave. I thought in his YouTube posts Joe looked positively (other than his huge baseball collection in the background!) like a skid row bum - his appearance seemed to reflect the depths his soul had descended to. If anyone who had seen him in his tux at Longwood compared it with the video, it was striking; in his photos taken at the Carlyle he seemed more like his old self, hence the Jackie effect!

Thus Joseph Stumpf must have gone at least twice to the Café Carlyle. This time we know that Mike was watching. And Mike is probably thinking, "This is why I do all the traveling now". It looks like Juliet has her head on his shoulder. That's cute. These pictures creep me out a bit. I wonder what J&J were thinking. We know that they're nice and have big hearts, but this guy called their mother a most vulgar name, made fun of Jackie's appearance and insulted Juliet in an obscene manner. Now he has his arm around Juliet like she's his prom date. Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad this guy had some sort of epiphany and decided not to be such an @$$*&%# In fact, I found his recent video quite moving. Yet, I'm struck by the irony. Good fans who have never made a negative comment about Jackie or her family, have spent money on M&Gs, where they've been treated like scofflaws, told "No Touching!...No Autographs!..No Pictures!...No Gifts!". Doesn't seem right.

Doesn't seem right. I think the price of this show was a determining factor in how much mingling with the customers was required after her show. Judging by all of the pictures that came out of this venue it must have been pretty easy to get a selfie with Jackie.

At least Jackie didn't have her arm around his waste like she often does with people she respects, but rather at her side. And, apparently he didn't presume to attempt it himself. I wondered at first if she actually knew who he was, but surely Mike must have recognized him. His expression is quite telling. Also, Jackie's smile looks forced.

I suspect that you are correct that mingling with the customers was a requirement of the Café Carlyle. With the small crowds it also was not as hectic as it would be elsewhere.

Doesn't seem right. Juliet's head on his shoulder? I didn't see that. In the one with Juliet I saw, she towers over him- it looks like she's taking it with a selfie stick. Only in my imagination, of course, but it looks to me like she's thinking, we conquered this guy. In the Carlyle setting, it would have made a bit of a scene if they had overtly rejected him, spoiling the after-show atmosphere for everyone.

No, Juliet has her head on *her dad's* shoulder, in the last pic where Mike is glaring at Stumpf. That's what I think is cute, not seeing either of the girls with Stumpf. Juliet is not really very tall. She just seems to be because she's slender and we see her next to Jackie a lot. I agree that the main concern here was not to make a scene.

Sorry for my misreading, I get your sense now. And, yes, Juliet is only slightly taller than JS- thanks to her heels, no doubt. I guess my "towers" was inspired figuratively more than actually.

That dress makes me think of gift wrapping. Well, Jackie IS a gift to all of us, right ?

Did anyone ever figure out what Mike is giving Jackie with the candles? It looks like something cut into small pieces.
