If possible, it would be nice in the Concert thread to have each of the specific concert threads show up in correct chronological order. That way one does not have to hunt around for all the concert threads for October 2016 as they will appear in correct order. And yes I know that the events are in correct date order in the summary thread, but it still is a pain to find the specific concert threads because they themselves are not in correct date order and the thread titles are in a non-standard format. In addition, I would use a standard format for the concert thread titles constructed such as: - Date (can be switched with Type) [as Month-Day-Year] - Type (can be switched with Date) [such as Concert or TV Appearance or whatever - make up a list people can use] - Where [as Name of Theater/TV Station/whatever and location such as City,State or Foreign Country,City] - When [in the US many people prefer a 12-hour time with format of hh:mm AM or hh:mm PM unless, of course, one is in the military who use a 24-hour time. Typically the leading zero is eliminated. Also, the use of "12 noon" or "12 midnight" is many times used to avoid confusion even though by convention 12 PM is noon and 12 AM is midnight. Of course one could combine to have 12 PM (noon) or 12 AM (midnight) as the forum convention so that one could also put extra pertinent info in the parentheses] Side Note: Even if the Admins cannot force correct chronological thread ordering, it still would be nice if the titles where consistently named as a minimal fall back. Seriously, you want time of day? It takes a bit of research work to get stuff in chronological order (I've experienced that making year-summary videos for YT, using stills and clips from concerts); the old Proboards Calender was great for that. Often date, or even place are not even identified on the videos. It would be a lot to ask of the admins.

Good point about the combos, but usually those are pretty rudimentary interviews, just an intro to her song. I was thinking about the longer interviews and podcasts. But it looks like one is set up now, so people can find it when they want to post one. Speaking of which, about an hour ago I saw the radio interview from Milwaukee Festa Italia, somewhere on the forum but now I can't find it. This happens to me ALL THE TIME. One of the problems with lots of subcategories & lots of threads is that you can't remember where a given post is. Looking yourself up in members should pull up your posts, though, which may help. There were 2 radio/podcast interviews from Milwaukee, one longer, one shorter, but both very illuminating.

I think the default is to put whichever threads have most recently been commented upon on top. You don't like this? Having the title clearly labeled helps, doesn't it? The dates could also be put into the titles of the threads when appropriate; AGT was 2010 Aug-Sep, with the tour mostly in October. Houston was 2011 Feb 18. Etc. Would that help?

There is no way that I know of to put each concert thread in chronological order. They appear on top as they are posted. Since they are adding concerts to Jackie's schedule, which are added to the board as they become available and automatically appear on top, I think this is a lost cause. It doesn't hurt to search through the threads.

Rick, we could put dates in the thread titles where appropriate, right? Like Festa Italiana was on 2016 Jul 24. Also, if time stamps ever matter, put me with those who prefer 24-hour military time. You still need to include time zone, though.

Examples of a Date-Type-Where-When title construction are:
"Jan 21 2016 Concert in UT Tyler Cowan Center in Tyler TX @ 7:30 PM"
"Aug 22 2016 Appearance on AGT Christmas Show in Los Angeles CA @ 2:00 PM"

Your Aug 22 example has 72 characters. Might be a problem keeping within 60 characters using your method. JMO ☺♪♫ May I suggest that when referring to data with dates the following format be used: "2016-01-21 Concert Cowan Center Tyler TX @ 1930" "2016-08-22 Appear AGT Christmas Los Angeles CA @ 1400" This format allows easy sorting of entries in the proper chronological order with the year first.

You had me until the "1930" and the "1400." It took a moment for it to connect in my synapses as they were firing that you were using military (24-hour) time as opposed to 12-hour time. While some of us will be familiar and comfortable with military (24-hour designation) others will not.....so that could end up being somewhat confusing!

I used Mil time because it is rather straight forward, the addition of 1200 hrs for PM time. I also eliminates a field when using data. It is also the least significant datum point. It really is not needed except for those who are focused with completeness.

Agree in general. I've come to appreciate the Chinese method: year 1st, then month, then date. Jackie's multi-year career means the year really is important for sorting in the proper chronological order. I often use no spaces or hyphens, as in 2016Jan21, which uses one less character, but yours is fine too. I also like military time. You already spoke to its advantages.

From there it should be straightforward, just add 12 to the PM time in hours & eliminate the colon between hours & minutes. 12:35 AM = 0035. 4:05 PM = 1605. 10:45 PM = 2245. And as long as you are remembering your military days, hurry up & wait!!! LOL.

I was wondering if someone who likes facts and figures (and knows where to find them) might start a Jackie Statistics Thread.
I'd like keeping up to date with stats like CD sales, Youtube views, and concert attendance.
There is often so much speculation and guesswork thrown about that some facts, whether good news or not would be welcome- by me anyway!

There are several folks over on Amazon that periodically post Social Media stats, like Views, etc. Perhaps we could talk a few into joining us, or, borrow some of their posts. I'm not sure if any Members here are into that. Why don't you open a Jackie Statistics thread and see what happens! I suggest you put it in General Discussions About Jackie/Reviews, News And Accomplishments JMO ☺♪♫

On the Home page, along with "Jackie In Russia" and "Jackie in Taiwan", should there be "Jackie in Japan" and perhaps "Jackie On QVC"?
