Jackie has drifted in and out of the "Christian lane" since she was 9, I believe. In alphabetical order from the dk site lyrics list, these are the songs Jackie has sung to the present (enough for an album): Amazing Grace Angel ?
Ave Maria Concrete Angel (an original?) Dormi Jesu Guardian Angels How Great Thou Art (the latest recorded) Open Fields of Grace (an original) Panis Angelicus Pie Jesu The Lord's Prayer The Prayer To Believe (an original) (And, the Christmas songs of course)
There are probably others I've missed, or could be considered in the category. At age 9 "Performing with the Church's adult chior. Jackie sings Amazing Grace." Why do you regard Concrete Angel as a Christian song? Angels aren't strictly a Christian concept. Thank you, ursus,
I don't, particularly, but assume it to be within the category. I'll strike it if it doesn't fit.
Edit add: I'm not promoting Christian music, just making note of Jackie's repertoire in the category.

if Jackie ever drifts into the contemporary Christian lane, she would have a huge market to break into. Jackie has drifted in and out of the "Christian lane" since she was 9, I believe. you missed 'Contemporary' in my post.
Think of MercyMe for example, Anyone see the movie 'I can Only Imagine'?
They are one group with great music. No concerns about wholesome content.
Older, but visualize Jackie singing this- [listen to the end]
There are MANY songs to cover and many songwriter/composers that would do her voice justice as she richly deserves.

TopTens: Performances causing 'The Jackie Effect'
This is for a research project. What songs or performances cause you to experience 'The Jackie Effect'? (An involuntary strong emotional response - tears, goosebumps etc).
#1 Pie Jesu #2 Nessun Dorma #3 Se #4 Lovers

There are probably others I've missed, or could be considered in the category. At age 9 "Performing with the Church's adult chior. Jackie sings Amazing Grace." Why do you regard Concrete Angel as a Christian song? Angels aren't strictly a Christian concept. IMO it's not a particularly religious song, period. But it does seem to accept belief in such things, at least as a comfort. If this were some other country or a nonwestern singer or songwriter, I suppose they could be Jewish or Muslim angels, or even Zoroastrian ones. But it isn't, so it's hardly unreasonable to call it more nearly that than something else. IMO it's really more non-twangy country music (which would be based on a predominantly Christian-influenced culture, not something more exotic) than anything else. Same for "Teaching Angels How to Fly", except different songwriter (James Breedwell, a Nashville singer/songwriter that Jackie briefly worked with when she was 8 or so). Or Sarah McLachlan's "Angel", which I'd view as even less specifically religious. But again, I wouldn't particularly say that they're generic-let's-include-everyone angels, although I wouldn't say they go out of their way to exclude anyone.

For me it is "The Lord's Prayer".
Just one, of many extraordinary performances ...

Where is Danny Boy? ursus and yellowstone,
There are a total of 30 songs nominated for this poll, so far. Neither Danny Boy nor The Lord's Prayer are included. But, there is an "Add new item" box at the bottom of the page where you can each make your nomination. I expect the ratings will fluctuate as the vote continues and nominations are added.
I don't know if you can nominate more that one song. How can you choose just one? Jackie's songs are like chocolate chip cookies, to me. Each one is gratifying, but makes you want another, and another.
Like, crying once isn't enough?

Perhaps, the majority of her fans are trying to tell you something in regards to the song "Danny Boy." There is a obvious reason why Jackie doesn't sing this song at her concerts besides not really caring for it herself.
