An introduction to Cody Karey published in June, 2013 prior to the release of his debut and only album (as far as I have found), "Cody Karey", Sept., 2013. Cody performed a duet of "The Prayer" with Jackie at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV in 2011. A snippet of that duet is shown in this video. Wouldn't it be nice to see them perform together again? Alas, all I can find is a clip of part of "The Prayer" on December 20, 2011, that someone got on a phone...where the camera couldn't handle it and the mic was overloaded: Looks like Mr. Dallo still likes doing duets. |

The first time that Cody Karey and Jackie sang together was when she competed against Chris Dallo at David Foster special on October 24 2009 in NJ. Cody was putting Jackie at ease prior to her stage appearance
They then performed together at a David Foster and Friends concert at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas on December 19 2011

Sometimes you run across something that you hadn't seen before. While looking for something on a reaction video, Lawrence asked about where she sang Walking in the Air. (She sang it four times only as encores - November, 2013 in Portland, OR and December, 2013 in Seattle, and twice in California). Anyway, in October there was a picture in Bali that really was one of the first "she looks like a grown up". I tried to find it and found this YT. Lawrence-you need to update your duets list now. I will add Richard and Adam Johnson, Welsh classical singers, to the duets list. Apparently the occasion was a "Bali wedding" in 2013. Does anyone know the specific venue, that I may include it? EDIT: The Bali wedding duet of "The Prayer" has been added as line 14. (The Duet Partners list is posted on page 5, June 24. This was their perfomance for the week 2 auditions on BGT. Though this video may be familiar to some here, I haven't seen it. I appreciate the effort to simulate a live duet performance that many wish had been made possible in concert. It remains one of the most desired and memorable of Jackie's duets.

As a child, she's had several audiences much larger than that. I don't put anything beyond possibility for Jackie as a mature performer. If she's happy and living comfortably, that's what really matters.
It will be interesting to see who she duets with in the years to come. Your request for duet updates will be impossible. The keeper of the list deleted himself because of months and months of constant ridicule for being a fan with very little support. Seems like a backasswards way to be a member of a harmonious 'fan' forum. NOTE: Not fake conversion ps I miss my friend.\\ I will not take your bait. |

It's nice to see a thread dedicated to Duets with acknowledgment and updates of those who have shared the stage with Jackie and/or recorded with her (live or studio mix). I'll assume the task of maintaining the list, unless someone is particularly inspired. The next update, I think, would be Jackie's duets with Micah Christian at The Cabot. I may have forgotten an artist since she performed with Matteo Bocelli last year, latest on the list.
