Jackie is 17 now and still giving God the glory. Jackie the Lord is blessing you every day. I could not help sheading a tear knowing she was not only singing "How Great Thou Art", but also praying it. As others have said WOW.

What an awesome performance! From the camera position in this video and not seeing her face, she has the posture, hand gestures and head -shake motions of little Jackie as she performed at 10 and 11. Even a little tendency to fidget with her dress. Reminds a little of her performance of Nella Fantasia on the The Talk with Sharon Osborn.

Nice song but Buddhists, Hindus, Moslems and every other form of religion might tend to differ. Can we not have religious discussions on this forum? I see no discussion of religion here. It is how well Jackie sings a 130 year old song, which happens to be the number two all time hymn. If you are offended by the text, you are free to submit one of the other's top songs of their faith. Or even one about the nonbeliever's Thou art. Free speech and all.

Derek Reeves, with the glasses, was one of the string players last night.

I fail to see how describing Jackie's performance, and how she seemed to be actually believing in what she was singing, constitutes a "religious discussion"

If you want to mention god or religion that is just how the world works. Some believe and some don't but that is also true with most things in our current world.

Christianity is not so much a religion as a relationship with Jesus Christ based on love. This relationship is reflected in Jackie by her love for family as evidenced by her support of Julite. Jackies' whole life is an example of working out her faith by reflecting her love and relationship with the one to whom she sings.

Some believe and some don't but that is also true with most things in our current world. Our government is not a theocracy but it is moving in that direction with the current administration. Right there - You just made a political post and probably don't even realize it. When you make a jab at your president that is not nice. Per our rules. What if someone said they didn't like all your animal pictures, that wouldn't be nice. Just true.

It is interesting that Jackie only sang one of the four pop tunes which she wrote for 2H at the two concerts over the weekend. I think that makes sense considering the audience which she has been attracting and is likely to attract in the near future. I wonder if she will vary which of the four she sings.

Even a little tendency to fidget with her dress. Reminds a little of her performance of Nella Fantasia on the The Talk with Sharon Osborn. I did see her face. I'm the guy in the lower-right in the black shirt, clapping like a maniac. Good observation, Cleonard. I was thinking exactly the same thing during this song, that Jackie's arm movements were reminiscent of the "little Jackie" days, when she'd do that slow motion Joe Cocker thing. You can see also here an open-arms gesture that is very expressive and appropriate for this song. I read a comment once that singers move their arms like this because they are in a way conducting themselves. You can see that here when Jackie lowers her right hand with a series of movements, as the series of notes she's singing goes lower. As for the fidgeting with the dress, the dresses she now wears don't lend themselves to grabbing a handful of material, as she used to do. But she had also had the habit of holding the material of her dress very daintily between her thumb and forefinger. Her second half dress has numerous strings dangling from it. In fact, Jackie mentioned that one of the strings had fallen off. (Jackie's struggles with her dresses has become a recurring subject between songs). Anyway, during one song last night Jackie held one of those strings between her thumb and forefinger for close to a minute. I thought How Great Thou Art was the most ambitious song on Two Hearts. Singing it live for us more than makes up for not performing Open Fields of Grace in concert. It gave me goosebumps and brought tears as soon as Jackie sang "I see the stars...I hear the rolling thunder". No one can sing a line like Jackie Evancho. I was anticipating the very high note at the end, but I think the way she ended it here is more elegant. I'll write about more of the songs tomorrow. I just got home this evening and my body is on Eastern Time.

From Ron Henke - Don These photos is when Jackie was singing "How Great Thou Art" dedicated to her late great grandmother! Wow!! Jackie's other dedication songs are: To her mom "The Prayer" her dad "What A Wonderful World". And Juliet "Starry, Starry Night." She didn't sing "The Prayer" or "What A Wonderful World" Sat. But an excellent "Starry, Starry Night" for Juliet. I hope I got that right. Now Zach and Rachel needs a special song. #HYPERLINK "https://www.facebook.com/ron.henke1?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf"Ron Henke to Team Jackie Evancho USA 7 hrs · (Click thumbnails to enlarge): Per Ron Henke Jackie was singing "My Heart Will Go On" during the following:
