OK my So Cal beach bums or desert rats (Palm Dessert - for our liberals) friends, here is my challenge to you. Y'all have three chances to better Jackie's last effort. Not the concerts, but the responses. Her last concert tread in little ole Tyler, TX has drawn 10 full pages and over 4,400 views. That is over 50% more than the nearest one. Also, has created a spin-off. Thanks Papa S D.
We request new and better and more pics and reviews. Enough to squash out the climate change, and other non-Jackie stuff you think anyone is interested in. By the way. I believe in climate change. I'm in Arkansas and the other morning it was in the 20's and that afternoon it was in the 80's. Get over it. 14,000 years ago George Bush caused global warming enough to create the Great Lakes. Now that is some good governing. Ha For my slow friends, that was a joke.
All the best to Jackie. May her voice be pure, clear and inspiring.

www.livingdesert.org/Seriously, if you ever make it out to Palm Desert, visit The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. I wanted to visit it last time Jackie did a concert here, but I was stuck at the hotel with my laptop, working. Today, after driving through some gloomy, rainy weather, it brightened up as soon as I dropped down into the desert. I've been sick and this warm, dry air is doing me good. I hit every animal exhibit and every garden. This mountain lion was staring me down something fierce. This couple I spoke to that are members of the zoo told me that the mountain lion hates men and has lunged at the glass at the husband. I trust Jackie will be more welcoming to me this evening. Ran into fans Chuck, Paula, Gary, and John at the hotel. Then Len arrived. They were more welcoming than the mountain lion, so that's a good sign. I excused myself to the jacuzzi. Just what I needed after all the hiking around today. Soon...the really good part of the day--the concert. Can't wait to hear Caruso.

From John Rutigliano on Facebook: "We just got out of Jackie Evancho Palm Desert concert. It was a great awesome concert."

Jackie has extraordinary talent. Don't pick you fingers. I remember telling my daughter not to do that. Of course, she still picks her fingers. She will probably tell her three children to "don't pick you fingers...".

As I figured out via Google, Marco Avalos Dittel was the video filmer / producer when Jackie had her concert in Costa Rica, November 24th 2014

I love this place and it's evident that Jackie loves it too, from her social media posts and comments she's made in the past. I was going on in the old PB forum about how the Palm Springs area would be a great place for Jackie to have a home. Close enough to L.A. for work and can't beat the weather in the winter. There is much support for the arts in general, including a very good film festival I wish Jackie would do a concert here every year, instead of every two years; but the fact that she sells this place out indicates that they know what they're doing.
I was seated next to a man who was there with his two teenage daughters. I asked him if they were in performing arts and he said, yes, that they had danced on that particular stage. It was first concert for all of them, but he told me that they enjoyed Jackie on T.V. As the concert began, one of the girls expressed her surprise at how Jackie looked now. This was my twentieth concert and, still, I found myself a bit taken aback, as well, by Jackie's onstage glamour. Sixteen years old, or not, this is the job. Gotta walk the walk and talk the talk. Jackie just had a very big headstart on how to comport herself as a star of entertainment. You would have thought she was the biggest star on the planet. Of course, for many of us here, she is.
Set list here was the same as Campbell, from what I know. "Memories" was the best I've ever heard. I've said before that I don't select that song at home to play by itself, just when I play the whole cd; but, in concert it's always one of the most impressive. Jackie sounded so strong and really cut loose singing it. Mike should really prank Jackie about something because she's getting more acute in her teasing of his singing when she introduces What a Wonderful World. Caruso is a new favorite and Jackie is already honing her interpretation of it, distinguishing herself from Lara Fabian, another great singer. I was sitting off to the side and so could see off stage at stage right where Jackie entered and exited. During Peter's Marriage of Figaro, I saw Jackie walk back and forth about six times in the wings, like she was burning off some excess energy. Jackie said when she introduced Safe and Sound that she enjoyed working with Rachel--and hugging her. She said they don't really hug that much, so it was nice. Lovers and MOTN were great, as usual. Ditto for Nessun Dorma, which Jackie pointed out was a show-off song. Thankfully, Jackie has no qualms about pulling out the stops and showing us what we can do.
