Hi JR, I second ursus' request. Specifically Viva La Vida (When I Ruled The World), Someone to Watch Over Me, We've Only Just Begun and The Way We Were. All i can tell you is that Jackie sounded great with every song she sang. Cell phone video's don't come close to reproducing Jackie's voice.

All i can tell you is that Jackie sounded great with every song she sang. Cell phone video's don't come close to reproducing Jackie's voice. The main reason I've never been one to seek out recordings of her concerts - some of them are torture to endure, especially to anyone who has had the privilege of seeing Jackie in person! Too bad they can't all be at least the quality of Papasmurfdad's but that's pretty unusual.

Not a fan of pedestal too. Jackie songs have a way of growing on people. Just sayin'. I agree. Some of the songs on the Awakening cd didn't impress me the first time a I listened to them but are now some of my favorites.

No. Titanium & Pedestal use the same notes (C-B-A in the key of C-maj/A-min), but both the rhythm & the chord structure are different. The chords & melody are different elsewhere (as waldschatt points out). Titanium is primarily major, unlike Pedestal. So no, I don't buy it. My Sweet Lord sounds nothing like She's So Fine but George Harrison got sued. And he lost.

The chords & melody are different elsewhere (as waldschatt points out). Titanium is primarily major, unlike Pedestal. So no, I don't buy it. My Sweet Lord sounds nothing like She's So Fine but George Harrison got sued. And he lost. The "My Sweet Lord" & "He's So Fine" lines were very similar in melody, rhythm & chord structure. So I have to disagree with you on this one, Rick. The jury agreed with me. Note that the suit over Stairway was recently won by Led Zeppelin even though the opening guitar licks were similar to the song Taurus by the band Spirit (which came out 2 years earlier). This guy actually goes over the similarities & differences on his guitar: *-*-* This one actually plays My Sweet Lord & He's So Fine simultaneously. Melody, chords & rhythm are very, very similar: *-*-* Stairway & Taurus by Spirit are WAY more similar than Titanium & Pedestal, yet the jury ruled the former were different. So the complaints by Jackie's haters on Amzn are, as usual, baseless.

Really great Pictures from the Triple Door. backbeatseattle.com/2017/03/28/photos-jackie-evancho-the-triple-door/Kirk Stauffer: I was fortunate to attend one of Jackie Evancho’s four headlining shows at the Triple Door last week. The Pittsburgh native sang a combination of pop and classical songs while accompanied by Peter Kiesewalter on piano. Best known as a finalist on America’s Got Talent at 10 years old, the now 16 year old had a mature stage presence and shared personal experiences between songs. Evancho, a platinum selling artist, will soon release her sixth full-length studio album, Two Hearts. The evening ended with a well-deserved standing ovation.

Original source of the two similar pictures posted earlier, along with a concert review by a fan (Sean Daley): Don

a few final notes about Jackie's four fabulous ground-breaking concerts at The Triple Door in Seattle..
as she entertained us for over an hour straight, Jackie was witty and charming and dashing and quick and crisp and polished, and her voice and delivery were as beautifully beyond compare as always..
in both her talk and performance, Jackie made it clear that she is no longer the little girl from AGT, but as she said too, that wide-eyed girl will always be a part of her..
MOTN was sung only at the first Mar23 7pm show – lucky for those attendees because her voice rang out to fill the whole room (and likely most of Seattle)..
non-flash photography was permitted during the Mar23 shows, but not for her Mar24 shows.. the combination of lighting and fog in the air made it difficult to get a clear photo.. sharing the best two photos of the few I took during her Mar23 7pm show..
you may notice the absence of shoes in the photo.. these were entertainingly discarded on stage before MOTN, after she playfully expressed how they were killing her, and then, at the audience's repeated urging to ditch the shoes, she took them off with a smile and chuckle: I'm only doing this for you - hehe..
light fog added to the stage ambience along with ever changing lighting to match song moods – white, yellow, blue, red, pinkish, etc.. small venue sitting less than 300 people – if sitting near the front, very much like a personal concert – just think about that – what a most amazing experience..
no black boxes on stage, no teleprompters - just Peter, piano, mic stand, water, and the amazing Jackie Evancho and her microphone – and that's all we needed..
introducing and performing her own song Pedestal – with her glassy eyes, this seemed clearly a most moving moment for her.. and so for us too..
appreciated the subtleness in her message when introducing (and expressing her love for her sister and dedicating to Juliet) We've Only Just Begun: “my music is for everyone”..
Jackie's cute and witty joking was delivered with charm and style and her ever-disarming smile.. her timing was impeccable as she entertained us between songs.. just a few of many examples (spoiler alert for those who wish to wait to see her live show).. 1. when talking about performing before big crowds in the past, she offered: I've sung before huge audiences - - actual numbers are debatable – hehe.. 2. speaking about her initial appearances on AGT, she noted: I was told I broke the internet with over three million hits in less than 24 hours - - and this was before cat videos were even a real thing – hehe.. 3. When Peter asked her, as she was singing Someone To Watch Over Me, if there was a special someone she was singing about, with a lilt to her voice, she replied: I know you want me to say Zac Efron - - but I'm gonna keep it classy here in Seattle and say - - none of your business - hehe.. Jackie Evancho – a world-class entertainer – she was beyond her years at 10 years old – she remains beyond her years at 16/17 years old – truly a wonder..

Well Jackie fans I finally got the new computer monitor so I can give my review. Our monitor died while at the concerts in Seattle.
The lounge was arranged in a fashion for perfect line of sight to the stage. No one being obstructed by the persons head in front of you. The first showing was 7:00 Thursday night. We were blessed with stage counter seating to the left slightly. We could almost touch her toes. I have really long arms.
Jackie entered the stage in a bubbly energetic fashion. Her classical songs are always magnificent. I greatly enjoyed the previews of her two new songs. I truly enjoyed her Pedestal. This is a song about Jackie wanting to just be herself and wanting to not be afraid of disappointing her fans. I am guilty myself of putting her on a pedestal. I now see how that can effect a person whom is on that pedestal. How far is it back down to the ground. She just wants to be grounded with the rest of us.
Half way thru the show her feet started to hurt. She stated she was going to work thru the pain. No pain for Jackie take those shoes off. That is what I shouted out to her. Then the crowd backed me up. She relented and took them off. The prancing back and forth on stage was in less pain. I think it made her happy to have audience participation.
Every song was delivered with such a powerful emotion we could all feel it effect us. By the end of the 1 hour concert we were greedy and wanted more. At least that is what Jackie said. The standing ovation was relentless. Fans standing on the seats in the booths. The only way to stand in a booth. Even after her return to the stage it took the applause a while to die down. Her on-cor received another standing O. As she left the stage Jrchico reminded her to grab her shoes. She giggled and snatched them up.
The 10:00 showing for Friday night was excellent. I do believe Jackie wised up and wore more comfortable shoes to this showing. However her energy level was not the same as the previous performance. There was no prancing back and forth on the stage. Great for me and dad we were seated front and center. However from this point there was no way to reach out and touch her. NOT that I would actually try. To be that close to see into her eyes was a thrill. She performed each and every song with perfection. When she finished this concert there was a short applause as Jackie left the stage. The air seemed to silent for me so I started yelling on-cor after a few of these the crowd chimed in and she came back looking like she really believed we did not like her. I hope she was kidding. We all Love Jackie.
