I received my ticket in the mail today. One business day. That's some kind of record. It was mailed from Fresno, not Seattle.

I have my tickets too. I can't believe that the tickets are not selling out for this. There are still front row seats available at all of her shows. I am going to the early show on Thurs. and the late show on Friday. I am tempted to buy tickets for the other 2 shows but i am not sure i would survive that much exposure to Jackie. After all i am 73 and have a bad ticker.

I got myself a "Countertop" seat, too. I almost forgot about the ticket sale, then remembered as I came back from break. I was clicking on the page before it was ready, then suddenly it went live, and I got in in a second. I probably would have gotten center, but kept getting a mssg that my payment info was incomplete, which it was because there was no place to enter the three digit code. I had to go back a page and come back in. I will be far stage left. I wonder who will sit at the other seat at my table. Last I looked, it was still available. But, really, the booths behind look a lot more comfortable and might be situated better for sound. So, are standing ovations inappropriate at this type of venue? It doesn't seem possible in the booths. My favorite venues are the old classic theatres, like we had for the Thanksgiving weekend concerts. But this will be interesting to see how the hipsters do things. I don't think standing ovations are ever inapropriate. I will no doubt be giving her some.

After all i am 73 and have a bad ticker. I went to my first Jackie concert shortly after having a heart attack. I almost didn't go for that reason. I was happy I went, even before the concert, sitting in the gardenscape in front of the theater. It was a warm evening, though February. This little girl was in her Sunday best and skipping around, excited, and trying to sing high notes, like Jackie. On the electric sign it said, "Jackie Evancho...Dream With Me In Concert". I felt very much at peace. This Triple Door place seems like a hipster hangout. Jackie seems atypical of the types of entertainers they usually have there. Maybe Seattle isn't Jackie country. The last concert there got cancelled. Having people sitting at tables will make it seem more like a private gig or charity gala, which will be kind of cool, as I'll likely never be invited to one of those high falutin' events.

I will be going to Jackie's 7pm concert on the 24th. I am still debating whether or not I want to go to the Thursday night concert as well. I am actually turning this into a week's vacation as I've never been to the Seattle area before. I will be in town from the 22nd through the 28th. I have attended a few pre-concert fan gatherings in the past. Would anyone be interested in a brief get together someplace near the Triple Door Theater between the 7pm and the 10pm concerts, either on the 23rd or the 24th?

As they can all be dinner shows there isn't much point in trying to get together for a pre concert dinner.

That performance of Think of Me was not from when she was 10 on AGT. It was a nice interview.

Jackie is just too nice. She should be able to correct people's mistakes in a nice way. She may not know for sure if she was eight or nine when she met DF, but I'm sure she knows how old she was when she recorded Awakening.
