If Jackie is Kitty or not, I really would like her to sing "Never Enough"

I would love to hear Jackie sing Desperado and Long Long Time. Here they are by Linda Rondstadt.
Can't you just hear Jackie singing these songs?
I would love to hear Jackie do a lot of Linda's repertoire. Linda was so versatile and sang in so many different genres. I could see Jackie being very successful jumping on Linda's coat tails and soaring. Linda had 31 albums and over 100 million sold. That's a lot to chose from. Name the album 'JACKIE DOES LINDA'.

Jackie has surprised me lately with her interest in jazz tunes. She has sung Fly Me to the Moon, Misty and Someone to Watch over Me on Instagram and tiktok. I didn't think she was familiar with those songs. I'd love to hear her do an album of old Broadway (now that she's done an album of New Broadway). Every time you say Goodbye by Cole Porter, My Funny Valentine by Rodgers and Hart, The Way you look Tonight by Kern and Fields. She could fill up a album in no time. And they could easily end up becoming some of the defining versions of these classics.

I'd buy it; and I appreciate that she takes an interest in a greater variety of music than we might have anticipated. But I suspect old show tunes (as a themed album) would not sell better than new show tunes. I have my doubts now about themed albums in general, unless all the tracks are parts of a single (preferably new) whole work, or Christmas albums. Otherwise, the theme seems to cause as many problems as it solves. For mostly cover albums, better to skim the top (or the most durable) of a number of genres, perhaps.

“Lara Fabian-Concert From Lara With Love - Broken Vow”
“Jackie Evancho - Imaginer (from Dream With Me In Concert) with Conrad Tao”
I believe she can perform Broken Vow as well or better than Lara and it would show the world that the little girl with the big voice has all grown up and can compete with the big girls!

I've long wished that Jackie would consider doing an album dedicated to love songs. It's the most common theme of all songs since songs began to be written centuries ago. She would literally have a thousand and more great ones to chose from like The Water is Wide, some of its beautiful lyrics dating to the 17th century, to those composed by the best female songwriter of all time, Mary Chapin Carpenter, who is still writing brilliantly connecting lyrics and melodies and performing them yet today. Love: "It's everything I understand, and all the things I never will.".

Well it's that time of year again when I pull out all my Eva Cassidy records. In doing so I came across the following song. To be honest I don't recall it but I have found it very good. Maybe Jackie might consider it.

Maybe Jackie might consider it. bgstar: You have found the perfect song for Jackie! It's about a lost love that takes us thru the seasons and Jackie would nail this! Jackie and just an acoustic guitar - Oh My!!
Jackie, if you read this, please consider "I Know You By Heart".
I Know You by Heart Eva Cassidy
Midnights in winter The glowing fire Lights up your face in orange and gold I see your sweet smile Shine through the darkness It's line is etched in my memory So I'd know you by heart
Mornings in april Sharing the secrets We'd walk on till the morning was gone We were like children Laughing for hours The joy you gave me Lives on and on 'Cause I know you by heart
I still hear your voice On warm summer nights Whispering like the wind
Ohhh, ohhhh, ohhhhh, ohhhh
You left in autumn The leaves were turning I walked down roads of orange and gold I saw your sweet smile I heard your laughter You're still here beside me Everyday 'Cause I know you by heart 'Cause I know you by heart
Songwriters: Nelson Eve, Scanlon Diane

It is true Eva was not well known throughout the states. Jackie is not that well known either. My opinion of both is that they are outsiders with great talent. Eva's music has been acknowledged since her death; especially in Europe. I first bought her music when I heard "Autumn Leaves".

I totally agree with you. I believe Jackie could get a hit with this song. I found out today the guitar was added to the record after Eva's death. by her brother.

Have to respectfully disagree that it would be "a hit" for Jackie or any other singer today. Just too beautiful to appeal to the audience today that determines what's "a hit". Still would love to hear Jackie do a rendition of it, although this is one song that would be very hard if not impossible to surpass Eva's. Eva deliberately chose to remain nearly anonymous, playing only to small audiences in small clubs. It's why she posthumously remains virtually unknown, although one of the world's best singers of her time or ever.
