Ok, who's going to this? I got paid yesterday and today added the final piece of my Jackie Thanksgiving weekend by booking at the Renaissance Providence Downtown. If anyone hasn't booked their hotel yet, this was,I think, $156 total. Not too bad, considering it is right next door to the venue and in a large city's entertainment district.

Anyone wanting to join us for dinner before the concert, we'll be dining at Cheesecake Factory, next to the theater.
Please add your name to the list. Meet at 5PM.

I'm on my plane now. Peter is sitting three rows ahead of me. I passed by him earlier and said, "Peter, great shows this weekend"

I'm on my plane now. Peter is sitting three rows ahead of me. I passed by him earlier and said, "Peter, great shows this weekend" Any chance of a review and set list? If memory serves me, the set list was the same as Troy, except WOTW was not sung. I was disappointed. WOTW was sung at Troy, but that concert had no background videos. So, I was looking forward to seeing Jackie and Juliet point guns at each other on the big screen and seeing Jackie walk over that rug I'm crazy about. At intermission fans that had been to the two previous concerts mentioned that Jackie seemed tired this evening. I got that impression, too. I thought Red Bank and Troy were better concerts than Providence, both because Jackie seemed sharper at the two earlier concerts and because those venues had better acoustics than the Vets. Not to say that the Vets is not a good venue...it is a good venue. It was pointed out to me that Jackie cut short Someday At Christmas. I hadn't noticed, probably because I was quite tired myself. The medley was done as good as, or better, than at the two previous concerts, especially OMBC. Same goes for TLP. In fact, Jackie seemed stronger in the second half, overall. Jackie made comments about her dress mishaps the night before. Again, she came out for the encore jokingly holding up her dress with two hands. I thought it was funny because it looked like she was about to do a can-can dance. These last three concerts Jackie displayed her usual charm and modest, self-effacing sense of humor. She giggled at times, gave the thumbs-up gesture and pointed at audience members when they said things like, " We love you, Jackie". The audience was enthusiastic and vocal. Jackie acknowledged and thanked the audience several times during the concert.

Yes, at Providence they had a post-concert M&G for several little girls. In the pic that rick158 posted, the little girl is holding her dress the way Jackie did when she came out for the encore. Though the audience oohed and aahed about that dress, it wouldn't surprise me if Jackie ditched that one because of all the trouble it gave her.

Thanks! Not a bad way to spend a quarter hour on a Sunday morning. This medley from the Providence concert I thought was the best of the concerts that weekend. I really like the new way that Jackie sings The Prayer now. Whoever made this video has a steady hand. I could never have done it. Again: no better way to spend an evening than sitting in a nice concert hall, listening to Jackie sing.
